I am a Christian and I really don't think is any difference between some religions...
We believe in God, no matter what name is given to him Allah, Dumnezeu, Jehovah....is the same.
We might have different versions of the writings/bible or prophets and saints but in most of religions God is the main figure....

God wants us to reach our potential to become like Him. The best approach to make this happen is to continually seek truth, and to bring our lives into compliance with what we find. If we do this God will lead us to greater and greater light.

Most religions teach some truth and can help people along this path. Most also teach some significant misconceptions that can cause people to stumble.

The following web page describes one person's journey for truth that led to the restoration of the church of Jesus Christ.

Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
Exodus 34:14 For thou shalt worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

God is not interested in RELIGIONS. Religions are MAN-MADE. Almighty God is only interested in RELATIONSHIP with mankind through His Son, Jesus Christ. There is only One Lord, One Faith, and One Baptism (Ephesians 4:5). For example, suppose I was planning a social gathering. Your attendance would be acceptable only if I invited you. Also, you would not know the location and time for the social gathering unless I provided the directions, date, and time. The invitation has been given by Almighty God when He sent Jesus Christ to earth to die for the sins of humanity past, present, and future. The Holy Bible details His directions for being in RELATIONSHIP with Him. Lastly, Almighty God has appointed a date and time when Jesus Christ will return to gather the faithful who accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and are obedient to His Word! It's truly a beautify expression of His love toward those who seek His presence. Are you ready for ETERNITY? I know that I am... I hope you are, too! Enjoy! [(\o/)(XP)]

I'm convinced, and the answer is absolutly not. He doesn't give a damn how you connect with him, as long as you do, and as long as you obey his truths. His truths are the ten commandments, the pillars of islam, finding the path in buddhism, prayers in the ganges river, and every other spiritualy uplifting process.

It's more about comming closer to spiritual perfection, and less about parading yourself on TV, claiming the lord has saved me (even though you still hate gays).

But then I'm a perrennialist, so I'd be somewhat biased :)

While life on earth offers many choices, eternity offers only two: heaven or hell. Your relationship to God on earth will determine your relationship to Him in eternity. If you learn to love and trust God's Son, Jesus, you will be invited to spend the rest of eternity with Him. On the other hand, if you reject His love, forgiveness, and salvation, you will spend eternity apart from God.

God is the author of truth. He wants us to find it. Satan is deceptive and wants to lead us astray. If we seek God and learn his truth, God will direct us in his paths.

God has always been very particular about how he is to be worshipped.

To think otherwise would be to make a very serious mistake.
