That's really cute your long run on sentence. =)

Anyways, having only three weeks left till school, I think most employers won't be looking for anything for short term. If you think you can find a two or three week employment at this time it probably won't happen. You should consider applying earlier in the summer and spring because that's when people are hiring. Remember that for next year.

At the moment, don't fret about getting employment.. you should focus on school. If you do look for employment you need to find something that you can do on weekends or evenings. Have you considered babysitting or doing odd jobs. Go into a youth work centre in your area and look at the job postings.

If you aren't getting success at the moment, it is because you don't have experience. An employer wants someone with experience and the best way to get this valuable experience is to do volunteer work. Consider this option as it will give you references you can use while job hunting in the future. Good luck!

Edit: I also suggest you check out the Job Bank on Service Canada website at: http://www.jobbank.gc.ca/Search_en.aspx?ProvId=99&CommGrouping=GBC006&Sources=JobBank,Government&Student=No
There are many student opportunities listed. Just do a general search of the area you live.

A suggestion is "don't rush down the aisle" and "get some additional education". If you are good at math, math teachers are in high demand and you'll have a great job when you get the degree. Or, try to enter the health care field, as in nursing or a med technician of some kind. Health care occupations have better than average projections for the future. When you are financially secure, you will have a much better chance at a successful marriage and future. Perhaps one day you may be the main breadwinner of your family.

You're a little too young to get hired for work. I think that you have to be atleast 15 with a workers permit before you can work. However, babysitting might be an option. Good luck!

next year, you can try getting a job earlier in the summer before waiting to jobs are taken up. people apply early. i suspect you might be too young for most jobs. you can make flyers and offer to dog walk, babysit , clean houses , do landscaping, do errand service for people. you might want to partner up with a few other girls. good luck.
