Clean your car. Post an ad, asking for more than you actually expect to get (IE you want 7 g, ask for 7,5) make sure to be honest or you can end up in an ugly lawsuit if something is wrong and you dont tell them, make sure you have a bill of sale, make sure everything is in writing, and make sure "all sales final" appear somewhere in your closing documents. Then you can either sign the title over or go with them to the DMV (or wherever, depending on where you live) to make sure they take it out of your name.

get bill of sale for buyer, clean car inside and out, change oil, give it a tuneup, have title ready. Don't let prospective buyer test drive it alone!! have insurance (wrecks have happened while test driving). have all spare keys ready for buyer.
