I made an eight gauge single shot black powder shotgun onetime about 25 years ago. On the fourth shot I didn't pack the load quite tight enough and it flew outta my hands and split my forehead open to the bone, spinning me completely around and landing about four feet behind me. I still have it but I never was fool enough to ever shoot it again. You want to build a two gauge. Well my friend good luck and endeavor to persevere! By the way I am THE ALL AMERICAN!!!!

Actually, 2 gauge shotguns exist. They just aren't legal in the USA for hunting anymore. In the USA the 10 gauge is the biggest legal shotgun but 8, 6, 4 and 2 gauge shotguns actually exist.

Best.

I think that's already been done, bod'd have to invent a 1 ga shotgun!
(If you'd still consider that a scattergun, not a flak cannon!)

It already has been done... along time ago

But the shells are longer avalible

They where used for upland bird hunting.

Plus the felt recoil will be much to much for any normal person. The recoil will be in the mid+ elephant class guns.

Well they have already been around for a long time maybe you could use a different shell length maybe a 8in. Personaly i would want it mounted on a truckbed on a tripod.

50 round drum mag yeah that would be cool.

But like anything its doable. But $$$

It would be er, um, unique... And of course you would have to make each shell by hand, as no manufacturer makes them now.
