self realization, to know that we are not this body, that we are eternal spirits and that we are also eternal servants of the Lord, who is the source of everthing.

Financially independent people who can afford to buy whatever they want would probably get sick of all the fancy crap they have all over the place. It's like using cheats in a video game to get whatever you want, sure things become easier but you lose interest. People tend to look for fulfilment by other means which of course can be achieved for some and addictions for others. People tend to think that we who live in this so called modern world are truly free. Of course the truth is we are more or less slaves to the system which only really benefits a small minority. Most of us are captives of: -credit card debt -oil barons -banks -working bullsh!t jobs to make others rich -working for 40 odd years to hopefully pay off a house (which the bank would rather steal of you at the first chance). -taxes -modern stereotypes -processed foods -mood altering chemicals The list goes on, in my opinion it's very often the simple things in life which are often the best. Rich people are mostly either too snobby or have their head stuck up, so it is only the *** hole which experiences fulfilment. (Maybe that's good enough for today's world of proud poofy parasitic posie picking prancing pricks).

Happiness is fleeting--my definition would be to simply be engaged in work I love to do and be paid for it. The source of real happiness is inside you--and is whatever resonates with you. But since everyone is different, everyone will have a different definition--no two people view happiness the same way.

Corona and Chimichangas now thats a double whammy of happiness!

Seriously, happiness comes from within. Its as simple as looking at the things to be happy about more than the things to be down about and choosing to focus on happiness. To be able to recognize and savor those moments in life. Even the small moments like watching a movie with your loved ones arm around you or noticing that one small flower growing out of sidewalk. It is possible to choose happiness over other emotional states but I also know some people suffer from medical conditions that upset the functions of hormones that control our emotions. This may be beyond dealing with themselves and require treatment.

You are the source. It's a decision. I know that seems difficult to accept but it is true. There is no road to happiness, happiness is the way.

Attitude. Leo Tolstoy quoted in his famous novel Anna Karenina," Happiness does not depend up on the circumstances, where in which we find our-selves, but the attitude towards them". It is same with every human being.

Self-respect and contentment. Knowing that you have done a good day's work, that your family is well and their needs are being met, and then, the east chair, remote in hand, dog at your side and a cold drink.
