Junior Johnson because he started Nascar and also was the one who gave Dale Sr his real big break. You know when he started racing for Childress.

Right now I would have to go with Junior Johnson but I really think Jimmie will surpass him before his career is done.

Junior Johnson. If it wasnt for his generosity (suggesting Winston sponsor the top series instead of his team), NASCAR wouldnt be what it is today.

Junior Johnson
This man is a walking history book, and he's was not only a track racer, he was a back woods racer too. He's certainly lived a very interesting life.
He should write a biography of himself.

I'd like a ride with Jr in his C-5R Corvette, at Watkins Glen, or the road course at Daytona.. The car they gave him after the 24 hour race at Daytona.. If I really had a choice (and I don't), I would ride with his dad.. Dale Sr was very good on road courses, and a ride with him, especially in the rain, would have been awesome..
