What is saint gabriel archangel patron of?

I just a had a dream where i meet a man. I saw a glimpse of the side of his face and then I walked away in a room and started looking at the pictures. One was of a statue of michael angelo and the picture morphed into a person that I Identified as Saint gabriel and he told me that the man i saw/meet was the man of my life.

This makes no sense to me cause in real life im single and i have not meet anyone. The man i saw in my dream i have never seen nor meet. To be honest, he didnt seem like the type of man i would be attracted to.

What does this dream mean? Im lost? Im hoping that by knowing the patronage of saint Gabriel it would clear things up...help.

In Abrahamic religions, Gabriel (גַּבְרִיאֵל, Standard Hebrew Gavriʼel, Latin Gabrielus, Greek Γαβριήλ, Tiberian Hebrew Gaḇrîʼēl, Arabic جبريل Jibrīl or Jibrail, literally "Master, of God", i.e., a Master, who is "of God") is an archangel who is thought to serve as a messenger from God ("angel" literally translates to "messenger" from the Koine Greek; an "arch" angel is a "primary" or "chief" messenger). He first appears in the Book of Daniel in the Hebrew Bible. He is also referred to as the "Left Hand of God and the embodiment of the Holy Spirit".[citation needed] Christians and Muslims believe him to have foretold the births of John the Baptist and Jesus to Zacharias and the Virgin Mary respectively, and Muslims believe he was the medium through which God revealed the Qur'an to Muhammad.

In Biblical tradition, he is sometimes regarded as the angel of death or one of God's messengers. The Talmud described him as the only angel who can speak Syriac and Chaldee. In Islam, Gabriel is one of God's chief messengers but other above-mentioned titles are not given to him (for example the angel of death is Azrael).

In the Catholic Tradition, he is known as one of the archangels. In Islam, he is called the chief of the four favoured angels and the spirit of truth, and in some views Gabriel is the same person as the Holy Spirit. Gabriel also finds mention in the writings of the Bahá'í Faith, most notably in Bahá'u'lláh's metaphysical work The Seven Valleys and the Four Valleys.

First of all Gabriel wasn't a saint...but an angel. He was the angel of announcements and messages. (His message to Mary was quite shocking.)> I'm just guessing but I would say you are about 14 years old? If the Archangel Gabriel is coming to you in dreams you should turn your attention to prayer and meditation as I believe God/Goddess has something to tell you. But I suspect your interest in this dream has more to do with your "dream lover" than God....Be Blessed.

Gabriel is the Angel most identified with giving messenges to people from God. A vision of that sort could mean a number of things, but always keep in mind that Gabriel doesn't always bring good news...

It means that you ate to much rich food before going to bed.

At a guess I would say that you feel that you want a man in your life, but you believe that you are not capable of finding Mr Right by yourself, so you are having god (or his #1 angel) pick the guy out for you.

You need to go out an socialize in different groups. Join a book club/cookery course/gym/whatever and go make friends with guys. Get to know people before you start dating them, then you know much better what they are really like.

Do not wait for God to throw Mr. Right at you. You will probably end up either a spinster or with Mr. Wrong.

Since your mind creates your dreams, you're the best person to figure out what it means. Knowing more about anyone in your dream wouldn't help because all that counts is what it meant to you at the time you created the dream.

Dreams are not from some outside source. You make them up.
