Budget around 80-125USD per night. Is that possible?

It's very very hard to find something in Manhattan for that price.
There are hostels though for like 80 bucks a night....basically you share a community bathroom. It's going to be very much like a college dorm and I've never stayed in one so I'm not sure how bad they are. Otherwise, it's extremely difficult to find a hotel in Midtown for less than 200 or 300 dollars.

On the outskirts of midtown during the fall. Try Pennsylvania Hotel on 34th Street, across the road from Madison Square Garden.
