Old people need their licenses taken away.... As should the minivan driving soccer moms who think they shouldn't go so fast with their kids in the car. Not only does this piss everyone off, but it actually hurts the flow of traffic and reduces efficiency which can lead to more accidents.

rash... i think not. you must be one of those people who cause more accidents because you think going slower will give you a better chance....guess what, statistically you increase you chance by going slower. not to mention you can get a ticket for going to slow.

I agree, they think driving slower is safe, but they also need to think if they drive too slow, accidents might also happen.

Because most people are idiots who don't know how to drive.
Merging at the speed limit or whatever the traffic is doing (whichever is less) is the safest way to enter a freeway though if you're in the left lane (or right lane if you drive on the wrong side of the road like the yanks) you should move over to allow someone to merge if you can.
Not all old people need their licences taken away, only some of them (though I have had some near misses with the ones that do).

People are stupid when it comes to driving. The idiot on the cellphone, the idiot changing her pants while driving (talk about distraction lol). Merging just flow in with traffic, yes the person in the right lane (expect 18 wheelers) should move over, but the odds of getting back in are slim. Because that idiot you let in, won't let you back over. Lol. But that's just how the drivers work, keep your cool. Don't get aggressive. Keep your 10second gap <-- In California Lol it's a joke I know.

What is worse is when the acctually STOP when they're supposed to merge.
I got in an accident once because I was looking to see if any cars were coming, and I hit the car in front of me because it came to a stop when no cars were coming. It was my fault, but I was pissed!

Maybe because it's way to easy to get a drivers license. There should be mandatory retesting every year.Get the people who are not qualified off the road.

If people who drive 90 MPH in the right lane would move to the left it would not be a problem now would it. There is no passing on the right. there is a reason for that.
