Christians say that God want's everyone to go to heaven and has thus given everyone free will! But these verses tell you something completely different!

Proverbs 16:4
The Lord hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

John 12:40
He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

Romans 9:18
"Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden."

2 Thessalonians 2:11-12
God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned.

*Notice that only proverbs comes from the OT, so you Christians can't use the classical, "It's in the OT, we don't live by the OT anymore blah, blah, blah"

Nevertheless, it proves my point!

Doesn't this prove predestination to be true? ( Assuming that the bible speaks the truth)

You fail to recognize one fact.
The above mentioned classes of people weren't born that way.
They became that way through their settled rebellion against God.
When you tell God in effect "I don't want to have anything to do with you."
His response is:
"OK -Let me help you with that."

Then your fate is settled.

If you think God thinks this way how do you think Satan is thinking?
Seems like you kinda left out more to the story then what is written in one line.
I noticed in the bible that its written were you can't take out chunks but have to see it in its whole that's when the puzzle comes in to a clear picture. I new to this but I noticing that, as my life I been so wrapped up in the details that I don't see the big picture.
You say that Christians say what God wants but how can a human man wrap its self around a Gods thought? He has mercy on whom he wants but he says if you turn away from him he will turn away from you, so no mercy. But as soon as you turn to him he will turn to you. Do you blame him for that would you not do the same? Someone tells you I don't love you and don't think you are even real go away, what would you do. Now think if you were a God and can see deep inside a mans heart and soul and know this is truly what he believes that you do not exist and will hurt your other children in a heart beat what would you do to protect them?
If you were God you might send them to hell and say see this is all really so don't hurt the other children when you come out of hell for eternity which could be a day and half in Gods time who knows the laws of everything don't exist anymore as man see it I sure.

Since the fall of man... there has been good and evil. Humankind was condemned after Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit. The result of that was that all things were no longer pure and good and that humans would experience suffering as a result of disobeying God. So if no one on this Earth went to hell then we wouldn't be on Earth would we? We'd be in Heaven. But we are on Earth. There is good and evil. And to know what good even is... there has to be evil in the world. Those people ur referencing in the Bible already hardened their hearts to God... they had a choice to believe in God... but just decided not to take it.

Romans 9 :19 says
One of you will say to me: "Then why does God still blame us? For who resists his will?" But who are you, O man, to talk back to God? "Shall what is formed say to him who formed it, 'Why did you make me like this?' "Does not the potter have the right to make out of the same lump of clay some pottery for noble purposes and some for common use?"

so i guess there is in a sence a form of predestination, however from our perspective, we still have a choice, God has given "power to the clay" and that is our ability to make free will decisions to change our personal coarse of life. We do not know the outcome, but all we need to be concerned about is getting right with God.

we can see that moses in the OT negotiated with God about him coming and leading the peopel to the promised land, God said No, then Moses pleaded and he said Yes.

So he led them., but we must plead our salvation with God.
You shal work out your salvation with fear and trembling (a healthy reverent respect for God) for we are mearly clay, yet he loves us.

"Jeng's" answer was really good i thought

hi dear,
u need to realize this fact that Bible had been completely/partially changed by the so called religious priests...
so v cant trust the current verses blindly.......

second thing is that God would send non believers to hell who despite having true knowledege/spirit of the religons created by Almighty Allah dont believe on that...

u should read other holy books sent by God to clarify ur this concept...like Quran so that u can have a broadened viwe..
may Allah Guide us all...
take care...

I dont want to be negative here but you cant pull out passages willy nilly, you have to take them in context. As for your question God does not create people that he will send to hell. God gave all of us free will and it is that fact that will determine wether or not you go to hell. God trys as hard as he can with our limited time in this world to reach us and we can make one of two decisions to follow Him or the world. I think the difficulty you might be having is that God knows from the very moment that your born where youll go, but it dosent change a thing He will still try as hard as he can for as long as he can to reach you, bit in the end its your free will that decides where you go.

confident genuine in essence 2 strategies is plenty extra perfect than lots of strategies extra loving properly on account that there at the instant are no good human beings this section is mute If God gave you all varieties of strategies could that be in simple terms or merciful? less demanding way and extra the main suitable option is that because of the fact of our sin nature and sinfulness all persons are doomed to hell yet God grow to be loving and merciful to return and die to pay the value of our sins. He has given us preachers of His observe, the Bible and fairly some believers to tell human beings of Jesus. the alternative is to choose for to stay with Jesus and be saved from hell. So Him being the author and maker of all He makes policies if we don't desire to honor and worship Him why could you dare to think of you deserve mercy?

God can see the past present and future,He knows that not every one will choose to accept his son,Jesus Christ. He knows you from the day you are born and he alone knows when you will die.He didnt make your mind up as to which path you choose to take. You will go through trials and make mistakes but the decesion to accept christ into your heart is yours

Yeah, I've kind of been wondering, if God has everything premeditated, surely he feels guilty for sending EVERY SINGLE person who has sinned and doesn't repent to hell, especially since the rest of us would have no idea it was actually happening.
