SOG Trident?

This Knife looks awesome, Any Suggestions or Advice or Opinions?

yes, i know to a certain extent, it's slightly ugly, but don't let that fool you

is this better than a gerber?

Gerber is a decent knife, SOG is the motherf@#%*$ of all knives. If its good enough for the S.E.A.L.s, it is definitely one of the best out there!!

I use Gerber knives, and Gerber also makes a similar knife called the "silver trident".

However, remember, which knife is used by the Navy SEALs?

I believe that you can get the Navy SEAL trident on your SOG Trident.

SOG make very good knives and very good multitools. Many of the mass produced knives are as good as any other, but I always had a soft spot for SOG. So I have a Seal Pup which I am very happy with, I prefer a slightly smaller knife. My other favorites are Puma, I don't feel any need to look at something more exotic or unusual.

The only time I had a problem with a SOG was when I was trying to lever something with the file on my multi-tool, only that's not where it came appart, so I snapped it. Files aren't made to use as levers. I contacted them and they fixed me up with a spare. They sounded like they wanted to give it to me, but I made it clear that it was years old and I broke it myself and didn't expect them to bear the cost. Excellent company.

I think it's ugly,

But it is a very functional knife, it passed the U.S. Navy Crane Special Warfare School requirements for a fixed blade Knife.

I Don't love the Trident, but if you do. The quality will never let you down.

I love my SOG... Will choose it eveyrtime.
