If I'm hanging out in a friends neighborhood (not specifically their house) and there's nowhere to park, is it ok to park on the side of the road like beside someone's lawn?

Is that illegal? Would the ppl who live there call the cops? Where else could I park?

Just make sure you don't block any driveways or side-streets and there aren't any no parking or no stopping signs.

If you park over a driveway they would have grounds to call the cops but if you don't then you'll be fine.

I suggest parking in front of a large yard where you car wont be in the way of the people who live there or have to pass by.

parking there is fine as long as you are on the right side of the road and not blocking any driveways

On street parking is open to anyone as long as you don't violate posted parking regulations.
