If the following bags of seed represent a religious or non-religious belief, what would it be to you and why?

You see one bag of seed is wet and is beginning to mold.

Another bag has a small hole in the bottom of it and there’s only a small amount of seed left in it.

One bag is almost full to the top but the clerk tells you that they are very expensive.

There is one more bag on sale for 20 percent off with about one third left in it. The clerk say’s you will have to become a store member first to get the sale price.

the first bag is tradition and dogma. it is stale and no longer viable.

the second bag is true followers of any path. truly following any path is only done by a few. many start out in this bag, but they fall away when they realize how hard it is.

the third is the megachurches. these gigantic churches are full to the brim and their leaders are wealthy because of the sheer number of people that wish to be counted as among their numbers. they tout that you will find your way easier if you buy the pastors books and tapes and the tshirts in the gift shop. actually, it's any religious representative that says you have to buy this or that to go along your spiritual journey. sorry, i shouldn't pick on just the megachurches, every path has its charlatans.

the last bag is any religion that says that it is the only way to get to heaven or to god.

The first bag represents a man whom the Lord has greatly blessed, but who hangs on to the blessings for himself and refuses to share it with others...(this includes both material blessings and spiritual blessings such as the sharing of the Gospel)....As a result, he is like those in the Bible who hoarded wealth or spiritual blessings and were cursed as a result...and the blessings spoil....

The second bag is like a man whose sin has allowed the seed God has given him to slip away, being unable to provide a place in his heart for the Holy Spirit to live and work to bless others....

The third bag is the bag of one who has chosen to follow Christ....it is expensive because Jesus tells us if we wish to follow Him we must take up our cross...and that he who loves his life will lose it but he who loses his life for Christ will find it....

The fourth bag represents the seed of the world...it entices us to offer over our loyalty, motiving us by offering us a cheaper cost / sacrifice...but in the end the goods are far less valuable and plentiful....

i believe that the wet bag of seed can be any religion...if it has gotten wet by the other religions in the world and other cultures are changing the religion.and it is slowly dying off from its original self.

the bag with the hole is christianity...there are not many TRUE christians that follow, understand, and commit to every rule or law of the bible (im not saying you have to understand EVERY part of the bible).and slowly christians are falling to other religions

the bag that is almost full is islam.it is the 2nd largest religion in the world.most ppl in europe are islamic believe it or not.and it costs alot to go to mecca atleast once in your life.and there is soo much committment to it and your not even guaranteed entry into heaven...with christianity, you ask jesus into your heart, follow his word, and your guaranteed entry..todays society wants to make it much much harder than it REALLY is to gain entry into heaven.

and im not sure what that last bag is.

Our own thinking i.e. state of mind leads us spiritually as well as physically.Suppose you are interested to push a table kept in your drawing room, you move your hands &legs in that direction and shift the table successfully.Your parts of the body followed tour mind/thinking.Another important working power of the soul is intellectual who decides whether the thought generated in mind must be implemented or not.Third power of spirit is his resolves/habits.which creates a driving force to do something.A physician treates a patient by first observing, taking note of the symptoms of the illness based on the knowledge he has, then running suitable type of thoughts in his mind to prescribe for that illness &then orders his hand to write the prescription/orders the mouth to speak about the illness to the patient. Now when another patient approaches to Dr,he repeats the task easily because it has become his habit/resolve due to the repeatation of the same treatment. So in this way he performs his job by resolves, intellect &mind.Same theory can be applied to understand how do we do any work by just following the voice of our inner consciousness
