I don't have a lot of sex with my lover, who wants it. I really don't care about sex. I would be happy on an island by myself, living in a hut as long as I had TV. I would like an internet connection and a phone, but would not have to have that. I could live alone for the rest of my life and not miss a relationship or contact with the other world. Now I did say I had to have a TV and that a phone and internet would be preferable, but not mandatory. Anyone think the same way?

sure. I am. but I also believe in true love. and ifyou really love your lover, you can sacrafice a little and try to please them. a little sacrafice here and there, and maybe even some social functions or activities aren't going to kill you, and if you really love this person, seeing them happy should make you happy, and more than happy to do it. they should also respect you, and your need for alone time, and non social type things, maybe just talking with you, or letting you watch some tv. if you both really care, then even us alone on an island types can be happy with someone else in the picture.

that is bizarre...how could you love someone but yet not want to be intimate? You would rather be a loner, a nomad, a crazy person, its ok to want time alone but dont be a lazy overweight person on the dole who will spend their life on telly, talking on the phone about how busy they are and ordering food on the net. Not saying that you are that but dont freak your lover out and dont want to be so alone, its not fun I promise you.

I often think I'll never be able to have a relationship with a guy because eventually he'll want sex, and i don't think I have it in me to give it to him or let him have it because I was............. "badly mistreated' in the past and sex really freaks me out and makes me sick. So don't feel alone.

Absolutly. i would prefer to have a few crates of books and drawing paper.
I love my space, and don't like anyone anywhere near it when I'm having my time.
So okay i'm with you on that one.
As for Sex Whats that Just kidding. I can do without.

then i wouldnt call them your lover. but you should buy yourself a HUGE tv and live alone. sounds like those are your dreams for you life situation, and let your "lover" find someone who will give it up once in a while.

Explain how you feel and your needs
& then you both take call -whether to continue or not...
