I heard that Dale Jr was in Memphis touring Graceland yesterday. I like junior, but I always pull for Tony Stewart. Now if Junior comes up with Elvis Presley written on his car, I will pull for him over Tony because I love Elvis dearly. My question is----Am I being disloyal to Tony? This is just a fun question, but I really will pull for Junior.

I am speaking of just one race here.

I can't wait to see this car. Junior and I just want to keep Elvis' memory alive. This will be a good race for him to win.

Dale Jr. to race Elvis scheme at Richmond: The King of Rock 'n' Roll will roll with the King of Beers when NASCAR's most popular driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. and NHRA young gun Brandon Bernstein pilot commemorative Elvis Presley's 30th Anniversary paint schemes on the #8 Budweiser Chevy and Bud King Racing Top Fuel dragster in September. Earnhardt's #8 Budweiser Chevy is a predominantly white scheme with black and red highlights and features Elvis' image on the hood and rear quarter panels, plus the King's image and "Elvis 30th" on the deck lid for the Chevy Rock & Roll 400 at Richmond International Raceway on Sept. 8. A custom Elvis themed helmet and black driver firesuit includes the young Elvis' silhouette on the torso with Budweiser in red down each leg. The car will be unveiled Monday, Aug. 13 on the front steps of Elvis' Graceland home, and be on public display during Elvis Week in the Elvis Auto Museum, Aug. 14-18. Earnhardt and Bernstein will rev up the 30th Anniversary Elvis Week celebration by hosting the first night of the "Elvis Music & Movies" series on the front lawn of Graceland on Aug. 13. "Elvis Music & Movies" marks the first ever Elvis Week entertainment event inside the gates of Presley's famed home in Memphis. In addition, Budweiser will honor Elvis' passion for horses with a visit by the Budweiser Clydesdales, which will be stabled in Graceland's main tour center area for public viewing Aug. 14-18. For one race, I don't think "Smoke" wouldn't mind taking the back seat. I bet he's a little jelous of Dale having Elvis on his car and not him. I mean, come on! It the King of Rock and Roll.

Why there is even a picture of Elvis on Juniors car this week.
But no Tony will win and Elvis will go back into memory and the stack of 45's I have.

There is nothing wrong with pulling for Elvis for one race. Just the other day we were watching Turner classics or something and an Elvis film was on where he was a stock car driver! I didn't get to see much of it and those old things are kinda corny but it was fun.

I like several drivers and I pull for them all. In the end if two are leading I really don't care which wins. Pull for them both.

I'm always a die-hard Tony fan, but if I really like the paint scheme on a car I'll sometimes pull for that driver just so I can find really cool victory lane pics online later.
So, no, you won't be disloyal.....just make sure it's only one race....LOL!!!

I beleive he drives it this weekend. Disloyal no. I pull for other people sometimes. I saw pics of the car. White and red with Elvis on it. Looks cool. He usually wins when he drives a white car.

I wouldn't do it. Tony Stewart pretty much is the Elvis of NASCAR, bacon sandwiches and all, so you're all set.

Tony will understand Jr needs all the help he can get lately. Needs to break the bad luck curse.
