Yes, I can't believe I'm saying (or typing) this out loud, I am the other woman. I met an Indian man about a year ago on the internet, we went out, and eventually started to have sexual relations. He left to India for a month and when he came back he informed me he worked things out with his Indian girlfriend but he still wanted to see me because he really cared for me. The first times we just ate, had coffee but eventually the chemistry arouse again and we've been having sex for the last 5 months again. We talk everyday but text, cell, messenger and we see eachother at least once a week. I love him with all my heart and he says he loves me too but his family would not accept a Mexican. I tried beaking it off twice but eventually we miss eachother and go back. How do I stop being the "Other Woman" and let it go? Is it true that Hindi Indians are frowned upon that marry outside their race?

If you want a lifetime of coming in second, of him not being there when you want him to be, of knowing that there is someone else that he is probably saying the same things he says to you then stay with this man. The Other Woman is not a good thing to be you are the one who will always get the short end of the stick. He is not dumping his other girlfriend but stillwants to see you because he cares for you? How is this caring for you when he has another girl. If his girl is back in India, you are just a nice convient local "piece" and I seriously doubt that you will ever be anything but the Other Woman. And yes there it is frowned upon for a Hindi to marry outside of their race/faith. If yo like being an extended play booty call stay with this man. If you want a life and a real love of your own, if you want someone you can possibly have a future with then you need to drop this two timer and find you someone who wants to be with you, and you only.

They do not approve out intercultural marriages. You will never be truly happy until you move on and find a man that can devote his life to you. This man will eventually marry his Indian wife and you will always be the other woman, or he will leave you.

I believe that in every race, a family would want their child to date the same race. seriously, i would just stop being the other woman unless the guy becomes strong enough to tell his family that he wants to be with you. i had a english classmate who is married to an Indian man and their children are just beautiful!

why would you want to be number 2. Set your standards higher, I was in love with this one guy we planned to marry, but I was number one but he had 2,3,4. So I had to let him go it hurt me but if he truly loved me anyway he would have been with me and only me.I deserve nothing but the best. So if you are a good women don't let that be measured by a no good man. If does it to her he will do it to you . Leave those problems where they are.

I have no idea about the culture of your lover, but I can tell you this:

if you have any self respect, you need to let go. Stop seeing this man.
