well i live in Tucson , and believe me i have seen my share of illegals , and know and worked with some, but it makes me wonder cause i have seen border patrol vehicles box in a car one up front one behind one to the side slowly force brown skin peoples cars to the side of the road ( this example was in 1992 , and now my problem was this the car was in my group of cars that was driving down oracle rd a city street. the car wasn't swerving wasn't speeding or anything else. how did they make the assumption that that car was full of illegals. i for one would rather have the presumption of innocence than that kind of police state, i have no problem with a fence, but are we then going to fence the Canadian border, and then the east and west coast after that.

the problems of non documented aliens can be fixed by congress in a new york minute ,

problem like

ancor babies

jail terms of 6 mounths to start if caught in the us and increse for each time they are caught again

stiff penalties for employers

ect ect ect..........

but they dont , this is a issue that the politicians have made a joke of , blame them wholy not the immagrents who have ( millions of them) tried to do it the right way but due to buracratic snafus the slots open are wowfully under granted or given to the wrong contries many go unused in some countries and instead of shifting or moving them the next year , have no changes

the politicians stirred this beehive up and dropped it after one half *** attempt.. and wont touch it till after the elections are over in 08..........THATS A OUTRAGE AND YOU SHOULD ALL BE MAD

and it makes me wonder what the next bee hive will be in 2 or 3 years just intime to drop it before that election ....

dont let them get away with it vote out the incumbents

I Absolutely disagree with open borders and I am sick of all the illegal aliens. They have robbed us of enough already.
1. Our schools are overpopulated
2. Our Prisons are over crowded
3.Bringing drugs in across the border
4. Taking Jobs from American Citizens
Please don't say they are doing the jobs Americans won't due that is a flat out lie
5. We have had numerous hospital which have had to close due to the fact that illegals don't have to pay for services and everyone must be treated
6.Our welfare system is a mess Hard working citizens are unable to get assistance when down on their luck but pop a few kids out here and you are given everything even though the parents are illegal.
I could go on and on but the bottom line is the candidate that is toughest on illegal immigration will be getting my vote. I am sick of the illegal immigrant population we have in California.

I have heard that terminology a lot lately. "Downfall of this nation".

But, it's silly to think that somehow a change in the population is anything other than a change. Our nation is founded on strong principles that people care about. And if people come here and care about these same ideas, then our nation becomes stronger, not corrupted. And if they don't understand what these founding principles are, we need to educate them- by example.

When the declaration of independence talks about 'inalienable rights', it isn't talking about rights that I, by an accident of birth have, and no other. It is talking about human rights. The right to self determination and so on.

If you believe, as I think you may, that our system is better than most and maybe the best, you only have to show people that this is so. Believe in America, not as a set of owned properties and 600 TV channels, but believe in it's ideals, what it stands for. Believe that other people will and do see this. Be a patriot. Don't fear to put your money where your mouth is. If we are best, let us be best.

You think open borders is a good idea?
Ask an American Indian. Their ancestors opened the borders and look what happened to them.
Legal entry is practical and reasonable.
Already Americans need to be bi-lingual just to work in menial jobs.
Immigrants should be required to speak English. We don't go to their countries and expect them to speak our language.

I am thoroughly against illegals and anything that allows them entry! They are a financial and societal burden and the embarrassment of Americans to the whole world over! Deport them now!
