I have just said shahada, and am still learning much ( obviously) everyday , I am still learning the proper way to pray, but does it also count if I do the wudu and have the intent with a pure heart, even if I don't know all the arabic words yet or the actions? just until I learn. I must say though, I have found much peace in Islam , al hebdallah

I don't believe Jesus ( pbuh) died on the cross, I don't even believe it was jesus ( pbuh) nor do I believe that jesus ( phub) is god, he was a prophet Allah ( swt) has no son.

Welcome sister!
It is a big job adjusting and it takes time. Don't go too fast! There are tapes and probably videos on youtube that can use help you learn the words for prayer. Don't be discouraged if it takes you a while. Allah knows your intentions and never lets the efforts of any of His devotees be lost or go unaccounted. Attending the prayers in the masjid will help. Be patient with yourself, for surely Allah is patient with those who seek Him.

In the name of ALLAH, the beneficient, the Merciful.
Dear Sister,
Well surely u r right, all that matters is the pureness, and the intent from heart, GOD is merciful ALL KNOWING. however yes offcourse as u go on i pray u learn things well, but one thing ALL LANGUAGES ARE AFTER ALL THE LANGUAGES OF GOD, so whether u do not even learn Arabic too much to understand its meaning, don't be worry abt that, u can build your faith more strongly in the language u understand the most, but as a keep interest u always can learn arabic too, though i am not good in that still, hehehe.........
GOOD luck, ALLAH be with you.

Assalamalikum Sister,
Allah is Great!
Allah will accept your prayers, even though you are still learning and pray with the right intention. (Allah knows best)
The Messenger of Allah (pbuh) said: (The value of) an action depends on the intention behind it.
May Allah help you and guide you !

Let me ask you this - why would God want you to speak Arabic? Is that the only language he understands? God speaks all languages. God sees into your heart and understands your motives and desires and he loves you.
It doesn't matter if you pray 7 times a day and fast and wash - God is not impressed with your rituals. God loves you because he made you - he loves you so much he sent Jesus to die for you so that you could have an open guilt-free relationship with him.

Do it one step at a time...start by simple surahs such as Fatihah, Al-Ikhlas , An-Nas, Al-Falaq etc those are more than sufficient to allow a valid prayer.
The best of amal (deeds) are those done consistently in quality despite being looked upon as a small deed by others.
InsyaAllah.

Yes it counts.
You will find even when you know the Arabic words, it's highly unlikely you will ever get to understand the meaning of them.
it's Al Hamdulillah.

I don't believe Islam comes from the God of Abraham, I believe either Muhammed made it up to unite a bunch of warring, hoaring tribes who couldn't get along any better than they can now, or else the "angel" was a fallen angel and this whole thing is from Satan.
There you go.

What are you doing running amok on the internet unescorted? Your owner should be answering these questions for you.
Step away from the keyboard and ask Allah for forgiveness.
