To any Pagans reading and answering this question. Remember they are terribly afraid that we are right. Thus they must attack us because if we disappear they believe we will no longer be right.

You are very close to the truth. Jesus told the people of his day "you are of your father, the devil". Satan rules the earth and unbelievers are his spiritual children. Christians are those who recognize that and make the decision to be "born again" into the family of God this time.

Be careful when appealing to history. Not everyone who claimed to be "Christian" was Christian in terms of belief. They may have lived in a "Christian nation" or been a member of the Catholic church, but not all things done in the name of Jesus have his approval.

Same goes for the pagans. You probably don't want to be associated with EVERYTHING the pagans did throughout history.
