I think that at some point in your life you will hopefully set out on the endeavor of questioning your own views regarding, god, religion and spirituality.
Seeking out why you believe the way you do and just where exactly you got your core beliefs from.

When you say that you are proud of this, it reminds me of a defiant child whistling in the dark...claiming that he is not afraid, but deep down would give anything for a glimmer of light....

Bless you....
I hope you find what it is you seek

blessed be

Pride is a funny thing. It can be good but it can also be destructive. I believe people who say they don't believe in God are in denial as everyone has a deep seeded innate sense of their creator. Many seem to cover up their denial with what they percieve as clever humor, but you will notice that most of that humor is based on non truth. In other words, people who don't believe in God often joke about God in a frivolous manner. I think it shows immaturity on their part. If you are going to reject the existence of God, you should at least take a nonfrivolous stand. Anything else reflects more on you then anyone else's belief.

I mean, Atheists follow my around on Answers just to give thumbs down to my answer regardless of what I type. Maybe I should be proud and flattered that they resent me so much.

Hey, people are people. You're an opportunity walkin', as far as I'm concerned.

It really has nothing to do with whether you're proud of yourself or not. It has more to do with what God thinks of you.

I think He's still proud of you anyway - and you'll someday come to His cross. I'm looking forward to it! :)

I'm not nearly as concerned with what people believe/don't believe as I am with what they KNOW.

There are plenty of people who have strong beliefs about whether God exists or not, but the number who KNOW God is negligible.

I think that they are people who don't believe in God. I think that some people believe in God and some don't. Some people like asparagus and some don't . It's not all that stunning a situation to me.

I think they should be able to believe whatever they like. I do.

I believe in God.

But I believe in the God I understand, which I can assure you has nothing to do with the One you've probably heard about.

You can believe whatever you like. You have my Blessings.
