Which God are we talking about? The Christian God (or more accurately the Jewish God) was a creation of the first "bible" as the difference from previous gods was the voice that the bible gave it - voice meaning rules and commands that were issued in the language of that bible.
The big question then is, who wrote that bible? Was there a voice before there was a bible? Was it an egg laying creature? We just don't know.

If by Bilble you mean the Book it is only a Report and a report certainly comes after the event happens in thie case God.This questions had occurrned to the Hindus also butthey decided it by saying that the word or rather words(The Omkar and Ath)were uttered by Brahma(and so they are sacred. They are uttered at the beginning of each book).
To give Bible precedence over God would be like following the Hindu scriptures. They believe that past, present and the future are as 'imagined by the creator(dhaga yathapurvam akalpayat)In that case even the'sin' of Adam and the sins of all his progeny(and even their good deeds) would be nothing but dance of marionetts and free will and sin would lose all its meaning.

The law of causality (cause and effect) is fundamental law of nature; in this world, every finite effect has a cause tracing back to an infinite source or eternal entity (aethist beleives it to be an infinite regression and theist beleives it to be the first cause). A rational person will surely beleive that this infinite source cannot be impersonal to create a personal and well designed beings. The Bible affirms with this reality about the existence of a personal, infinite and intellectual being call God and further reveals about his true nature. This revelation goes further to know more about God. So its both the reality and the Bible that tells us about God.

If you knew God you would know The Answer... The Bible of The True Christian Faith does not prove God... but God will prove The Bible to all who are open to His leading through The Holy Spirit.
I did not even own a Bible untill three days after my Salvation... on the morning of my Salvation I was a mocker of all Bible thumpers... "knowing The Bible" is not a requirement for one to receive God's free gift of Salvation....

The Bible is greek for "The Book" therefore a book was not here before God was but the words out of his mouth were here with Him. God came first and the bible came later. If would have been different if you would have asked "Which came first "The Word or God". God bless

I would have to say Abraham. He invented God in his own image, and then the stories got passed down for several generations before they were written down. Then it was a few thousand more years before 100 AD which is when the Old Testament was written, and 200 or 350 AD when the New Testament was finalized.

I would think God came first because God had to give to
someone (human being) the knowledge here on Earth to even begin creating the Bible.

Unless you envision a planet - sized bible floating past a little space debris in the Infinite Void and suddenly deciding to create a God .... how could you ask that question with an innocent smile on your avatar?
PS. And how could anyone answer this question in all seriousness?

Yeah well, it would have to be the bible now wouldn't it, as it is the bible, created by man, which created god. OR HEY WAIT!! How about this one. god came before because he is simply a rip off from "gods" that were believed in before he was - the name simply got changed, and all these gods he is an emulation of were around before the bible was :-)

This has got to be the stupidest question I have seen to date. I mean really. Its like asking what came first, Man or the motorcycle ? have you even read the bible? It was written by man, inspired by God.
God created man, writing/ a book is merely a technical skill aquired by one of Gods creations.
