1) It's proven true in my own life countless times.
2) I have found that people who are truly seeking God and trying to follow His Word are far more righteous, honest, and compassionate people to be around than those who are not.
3) As an author, I can tell you that there is no way any human or group of humans could have ever composed a story that incredible. It is the ultimate epic -- the story of God and the human race -- and it displays a complete mastery of storytelling, using some techinques that we have only recently developed, and others that we have not learned yet! Read the the great tragedy that is the life of David -- just a small episode in the epic. Read it all the way through, and see the grand underlying plot of a Saviour, of His truimph over Death and Sin, and redeeming mankind. No man has or could write anything close to the Bible. Thus I see God through my own craft, because God's presence is visible in everything. Just look a little bit closer.

before the bible during the first 2500 years of mans existence when the written word didn't exist God spoke to a few select men. Also, he manifested himself in many other ways, the handiwork of God's creation in the universe illustrates God's existence and his love for mankind. Also, God gave man an inner voice of conscience (the abilty to detect right from wrong). the word of God was preserved by the nation of israel in the ark of the covenant. the law was read every seven years, during a jews lifetime they would hear it read 10-12 times. had an error occurred they would have notified the priest. there were strict rules when copying the bible including, no word or letter could be written from memory, the scribe must look attentively at each word then pronounce it before writing it, the words and letters of each section were to be counted if the total figure didn't add up the manuscript had to be discarded.

That is a very good question. One that I have asked myself. There are two major points I came up with. One is, all that what I read in the bible is caring and logically humane. Not like any other regulatory or guidance principles in (mortal) society, including our laws. The other is, that the bible is full of prophesy, most of which has already come true, and some (the rest) that looks to occur in the future.

There is more, but that is big stuff.

The key is actually faith because without it you just read the Bible as another storybook. There is no one who can read the Bible and believe it's the word of God without having faith first. There may be no actual proof that would satisfy a scientific or let's say a physical-facts-based mind, so it would completely be faith that makes ppl believe its God's Word.

Is there any greater book written at anytime at any place in any language by any man? Never. Impossible. The worlds greatest writers of all time could not comprehend the magnitude of the Bible. How literate was the world at the time? Good question. God bless.

Much of the Bible is historic. This is proven fact .The people of the Bible are mentioned many of them in other historical records.I can`t understand why its so hard to believe that God inspired those who wrote down facts about the times and about God.What we have to go by is enough to get us where our God wants us to be.It takes faith to believe.

The Bible is useless jibberish and confuses everyone who reads it. A mix of truth and lies. The Bible makes God appear stupid. Does nature seem confused to you?

Throw it away.

Religions are social clubs that collect tax-free dues. You don't need saving. Jesus is not here. God requires nothing. There are no sins. There is no devil. There is no hell. We do not die.

There is one way of knowing this with certainty, and that is how I know it ...

Jesus Christ clearly demonstrated that He was God, by constantly doing things only God could do ...

Jesus Christ, God, said that whatsoever His Church defined as binding upon the faithful here on earth was also bound in heaven ...

And His Church infallibly defined the 73 texts of the Christian Bible as binding upon the universal Church ...

Therefore those 73 texts, nothing more and nothing less, constitute the written Word of God, guaranteed by the spoken word of God Himself.

I've never seen it as the word of God but rather as the word of God as told by man.
