Assuming it is cast iron, rub it inside and out with a little cooking oil on a paper towel. Then put it upside down in a low temperature oven (200 - 250 F) with a drip pan underneath. Let it heat/cure in the low oven for a couple hours. Turn off oven. Remove from oven with pot holder and when it's slightly cooled, rub it clean with a new paper towel. Return it to oven to finish drying with whatever heat is still in the oven.
