I'd bet my paycheck 98% (or more) of those outside of the Abrahamic religions will say no. Wanna bet on how many of those from the Abrahamic religions say yes? lol

I'd like to thank Free Ranger for proving my second point beyond any doubt. Aren't delusions grand?

No, I don't have the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Don't take that bet, it's sucker odds.

Strange how people often think that truth is spiritual... well at least those from an Abrahamic background, and maybe more specifically from a Christian background.

Several of the answers I read before replying mentioned
"path"... what does a path through life, spiritual or not, have to do with truth? Is there a true path? And if there is does that mean that it is "truth"?

Honestly "truth" is a wonderful non-specific topic to discuss when everyone is in a philosophical mood and slightly mellow, but realistically it is very similar to discussing the answer to "Life, Universe and Everything"...

Having said all of that, it doesn't really matter what I think is the truth or what anyone else thinks is the truth as the truth will always be what it is.

No, not in the least. I think there is some truth to be found in pretty much all of the world's religions - differing interpretations of the same Divine.

No. Everyone disagrees on some issue of truth with every other person. So, at the maximum, only one person can ultimately have the real truth.

If there is no absolute truth, there is no meaning in life. Fight it all you want; that's what it boils down to. I believe in Jesus Christ: the Way, the Truth, and the Life. As a result, my life is fulfilling, joyous, and meaningful.

EDIT: I don't think anyone would have contested your 'second point' in the first place. Abrahamic faiths, including mine, are monotheistic and teach that theirs is the only way, by definition. That's a fact. The issue at stake is whether any of us are right (or in your view, whether any of us are wrong?). Obviously, my short answer cannot have conclusively proven that issue that one way or another. It just showed my opinion and gave you something to think about. So think, don't give a knee-jerk reaction.

You are probably right. I believe that there are many paths to the creator, I just happen to believe that the path that I have chosen is the truth that fits me and feels right for me.

Nope, there are as many truth as there are people. We will never be able to understand the real objective truth, since what we learn is colored by our experience and perspective.

No way. Nobody knows 100% for certain. I just try to do the best from what I've experienced and what feels right for me. If my path happens to change during this life, so be it.

absolutly not. my path is the one that is right for me. i would never assume that it is the right path for anyone else.

i was accused by a christian of contradicting myself on this point in an answer i gave. it amazes me that christians & muslims believe their faith is the only correct one. the jewish people do not make such a claim.

i am weary of christians. they are annoying when they refuse to understand that we each have to find the path right for us. it is a responsibility not to be taken lightly. yet, christians assume we enter Wicca / Pagan faiths or become an Atheist because we are stupid. in fact, most of us have struggled to get to where we are and we each have thought about it and studied for much longer than most christians have about their faith.
