when somebody says riverside is fairly clean, they mean on a good day, visibility is about one mile. riverside is next to san bernardino, which i have flown over at 10,000 feet and couldn't see the ground for the smog.
fairly clean, after a heavy rain,maybe.

as a matter of fact, no. los angeles is way more contaminated that riverside county. man, i thought california was bad ! but paris, france is bad ! but anyways, i live in riverside county, and it's fairly clean i suppose. when you're on the 15 freeway heading towards los angeles ,you can already see the smog. :/

Yes, especially bad in summer. So thick that I was once driving a rental car there that had headlights that went on automatically when it got dark...it was three pm and very smoggy, so thick I could barely see, and the headlights went on by themselves.
