Just to clarify I don't believe in any God, and never will frankly. Yet, i'm still trying to find a reason to keep truckin' along.

The point of life is to repent and turn away from our sins and accept the grace that God has given us through the death of our Lord Jesus Christ. We must put our trust and believe in His power to overcome death for He has risen after three days and has ascended to heaven and promised that when He comes back He will save the righteous and punish the proud.

James 4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

James 4:15 For that ye ought to say, If the Lord will, we shall live, and do this, or that.

James 4:16 But now ye rejoice in your boastings: all such rejoicing is evil.

James 4:17 Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin.

To God be the Glory! Forever and ever! Amen!

I'm sorry but there is no point of life without God. If there is no God, then you are the product of the mindless natural process of evolution. It is a process like weather and can no more give us a purpose for living than a snowstorm can give purpose to a snowdrift.

Once you give up on God, you must give up everything. All those things that make our lives hang together, love, compassion, mercy and justice, etc., are just thoughts made pleasant by an evolution-supplied shot of chemicals in the brain. Without God, we are all just slaves to a drug habit.

Atheism, when carried to the logical conclusion results in nihilism and nihilism results in insanity and suicide.

"There is but one truly serious philosophical problem, and that is suicide. Judging whether life is or is not worth living amounts to answering the fundamental question of philosophy." - Albert Camus

Without some idea of what comes after this life, there wouldn't be a reason for this one. What's your purpose? Where did you come from? Why are you really here? Where will you go when you die? Religion is supposed to answer all those questions. If you're content not knowing the answers, don't get a religion.

Perhaps this is the time when you get to begin your journey in life for spiritual truth and to find out exactly what it is you believe and how and why you believe the way you do.
This is not a simple task, for it takes alot of honesty and willingness to take a look at yourself and figure out your core beliefs....but i assure you, it is well worth the effort.

I believe that as long as we are searching for the truth, we are growing and progressing in life, it is when we quit searching that our growth is stunted and quits.

I hope you find what it is you seek....

May your journey be blessed with truth and acceptance.

Blessed Be

Life is a journey that begins at birth and ends when we die. Every moment in between is made up of experiences that help us travel the remainder of our life.
We experience both good and bad, but without them we would never develop into the people we will become. Sometimes things are tough and appear impossible, but in the long term those times just make us stronger.

You have to know, not believe, that you can change your life.

If you commit suicide, you will be very disappointed with yourself on the other side and it will delay your growth. You will be very angry at yourself for disposing of the "gift" before it was fully realized. Some describe this as a very dark and lonely place you set-up for yourself.

Stay with it.

Think back to our founding fathers who believed in God. The laws were determined by the bible.
There were hard times but people had God to lean on which developed the backbone of our country. Sadly as less people believe in God I see our nation going south.

The "point" of life is not to be religious.... It is to have a personal relationship with Christ. And to grow and strengthen in your relationship, to glorify God in everything you do, to help others and to share God's word to others.

In addition to, getting married, raising a family, having fun, etc.
