Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.

Chew each morsel at least 32 times. Do not touch articles of food or the cutlery in between. This will activate ur body to generate strong signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks (minimum 20 min duration) regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.

Ur weight loss on 200 cal/day will depend on ur level of activitiy. The level of activity will go down and u will be lethargic all the time.

I lost just over 80 pounds from water fasting for 4 months. I ate no food and had only water, diet soda, and Crystal Light. I also did a diet of 240 calories a day for 1 month afterward, and lost another 20 pounds (lost about 5 pounds a week), so I lost about 10 pounds in 2 weeks eating 240 calories a day which is similar to your 200 calories a day.

So, I guess you might lose about 10 pounds in 2 weeks on your diet. Keep in mind you will also lose some water weight when you first start dieting. Your body won't hold as much water when you eat less. You'll be eating less sodium and other things that make you retain water. So you may lose closer 15 pounds, but keep in mind a few pounds will be water.

Don't listen to people who say you will die. You will not. I guess they've never been sick before and went a couple weeks without eating, which is weird. The body can go a very long time without food. I have done a few long term fasts - the longest being 4 months. That was about 6 years ago, and no weight was regained. When you eat less than you need, your body uses its own fat reserves for energy. It will do this until there is no fat left, but you will be really lean way before that happens.

Eating 200 Calories A Day

2016-11-12 03:36:54 · answer #3 · answered by warmington 4 · 0 0

If calories consumed = calories burned, you will remain the same weight. If you have a deficit of 3500 calories, you will lose 1lb. A man on average needs about 2500 calories a day to stay the same weight, so 200 calories a day would give a deficit of 2300 calories a day. Over two weeks, that's 32200 calories, so dividing this by 3500 gives an estimated loss of 9.2lbs. Same formula for women, but they only need 2000 calories a day to maintain the same weight.

You won't, because you won't be able to maintain such a foolish plan.

And yes, I, and everyone else here with at least half a brain, is going to tell you it's not only not healthy, but will make you sick. Deal with it! The truth hurts.

As soon as your body realizes you are starving it, you will stop losing weight! And when you finally break, and start eating again, you will eat more than you did before you went on this "diet", and gain back all the weight you lost (if any), and then some!

The ONLY ONLY ONLY way to lose weight and keep it off forever is to change your lifestyle. You don't need to starve yourself! Eliminate the junk and eat only good food, normally and in normal amounts, enough to satisfy your hunger, and no more. Exercise, a half hour to forty-five minutes a day five times a week. It doesn't matter what, as long as you're moving.

Anyone who try to sells you on any "diet" is LYING. Yes, you can lose weight on any "diet". And as soon as you stop, BANG, you're even fatter than when you started. And then they'll sell you the next fad.

Common sense is the only way to do it right. Please use yours.

Make pancakes even healthier with the help of mashed baked sweet potato, some pureed spinach and blueberries, or perhaps cooked quinoa.
