Probably 6 months. If you increase the workouts to 5 weekly and keep them reasonable, you'd probably lose more at first than someone who weighed less. Use it to your advantage...sweat a little each day...cut out the junk food...for god's sake don't skip meals ...lots of smaller healthy ones.and don't eat late at night.GOOD LUCK...you can do it!

Eat only when hungry and not more than thrice a day. Nothing other than water in between. Include plenty of uncooked vegetables and fruits in each meal, preferably 50%.

Chew each morsel at least 32 times. Do not touch articles of food or the cutlery in between. This will activate ur body to generate strong signals of hunger/fullness. Obey these signals.

Take light exercises and brisk walks (minimum 20 min duration) regularly preferably twice a day.

U will achieve what u have not even dreamt and that too in a reasonable time. Do not be in a hurry. It is however to be noted that one cannot change the shape or size of different parts of the body.

If there is an emergency to loose weight take doc's advice for it.

A great resource for keeping track of your exercising and nutrition is Sparkpeople.com. They can help you create a plan, or you can use the tools to keep track of your own plan.

According to your information (5'3", 200 pounds) you could lose about 50 pounds by Feb. 7, 2008 if you 'started' August 21 (at a rate of 2 pounds per week, which is recommended when introducing a healthy lifestyle, and the weightloss is easier to maintain... instead of crash dieting.) There are TONS of resources to use to educate yourself on what a healthy lifestyle is, and what is best for your body... knowing how to do it and do it right makes things A LOT easier in the long run, though for the first little bit, it may seem kinda hard.

Sparkrecipes.com is a great resource for recipes, even if you don't decide to join sparkpeople!

Hi,

I've tried so many different diets in the last 10 years that I can say now, they don't work!
A few months ago, I came across a great product for weight loss and like many others I was skeptical about it. But I really wanted to lose weight and I tried it. The results were excellent and I lost 20 pounds in 2 months. I felt fantastic and I dropped another 5 pounds safely. That's why I recommend you check this product at
http://www.freelstore.info where they have a free trial and you only pay 5.49$ shipping and handling.
Good luck!

well, you should try to excerise each day. The standard each day is 30min to an hour. So i suggest taking the stair instead of the elevator or simple things like that. I would say roughly a month or two.
