a chemist discovered that a chemical reaction took 80 minutes to occur when he was wearing a wool jacket, but when he wasn't wearing the wool jacket the same reaction always took an hour and 20 minutes. can you explain this?

1 hour and 20 minuts and 80 minuts are the same amount of time so their is no differance

80 minutes and 1 hour and 20 minutes is the same amount of time...

1 hour = 60 min
plus 20 min

= 80 minutes : ]

S**t - everyone beat me to this, but I'll say the same anyway.
1hour = 60 minutes
+ 20 minutes
= (drum roll)
80 minutes!!!!!!!

When he was wearing the wool jacket he couldn't see his wrist watch so he used the lab timer. When he took it off it was easier to use his wristwatch.
