My problem is I always laugh at the dumbest things, I just can't help it. I want to stop this because it's completely embarrassing and people look at me like I'm crazy. I really do laugh at everything. What do I do to stop this before it really gets out of hand?

no i struggle with the same exact problem, when I'm on the train and its like 8 in the morning, everyone else is tired look or nothing is going on, my mind doesn't even have to wonder much and then a smile comes across my face, and then people start looking, and i cant contain it, so then i have to like get up and move because i feel so embarrassed.

my friends are used to it, and whenever i meet new people, my old friends always tell them.

i laugh so much at things that other people probably wont find funny, and it doesn't take much to make me smile.

but i just accept, embrace, it. i don't think there is anything we can do about it.

I do that too ! I usually do it just to make the person feel nice, and that I show interest. But seriously, many times I just feel like laughing when things aren't meant to be funny (no I don't laugh at serious things though, but those tiny comments when other people would simply just smile) Don't worry about it. It's fine.

its a perfectly healthy thing to do. it releases endorphins, wich is the same thing released when you have sex. dont stop laughing, otherwise it will get built up like water behind a dam and oneday it will break, and you will start laughing and wont be able to stop. that is really embarassing. (thats what i do) just keep laughing.

bite your tongue or clap your hand over your mouth to muffle the sound.
or make a mental list of a lot of really sad things and keep them in the back of your mind for when you start to laugh at something dumb.

If you have someone with you, tell them to give you a slap when you start laughing the next time. That should do it.

I think that is delightful. It will not get out of hand, as you age, you will be able to control it more.

Just contain yourself. If you really can't help it, just smile or smirk slightly.
