It appears that a practice of the two child religions of the Hebrews have not changed since the 15th century. In a few words the practice is "If you are not worshiping our
God you must be worshiping an evil God so we will send you to hell one way or another.
As one innocent said on the way to the stake, " Christians do not worship their Satan, they are the embodiment of their Satan."The person was a learned good-wife of 50 years of age with a birth mark on her forehead."

I personally don't care what Christians think I believe, so long as they leave me alone, and I in turn try not to bother them.
But to answer your question -- Paganism is a fairly broad umbrella, covering a number of pre-Christian and modern polytheistic and/or Earth-based religions, but usually what is meant by the word "Pagan" is the Neopagan movement. This movement includes Wicca, Druidism, neoshamanism, and other efforts to reclaim, reconstruct, or reinvent ancient polytheistic religions. Most modern Neopagans completely reject what they call "Christian Dualism" -- the idea of a black and white struggle between Good and Evil. But the ancient polytheistic cultures (such as Greece, Rome, Egypt, Sumeria, etc.) believed that there were forces of chaos in the universe that opposed the order of the Gods. In Babylonian and Sumerian mythology, the God Marduk slew the dragon Tiamat. In Greek mythology, the Gods battled the Titans. In Hindu mythology, the Gods were at war with demons. In Egyptian mythology Horus defeated Set, and Set is often called the Egyptian "Satan." So the ancient Pagans had a concept of evil, or of spirits that were hostile to humanity and the Universal Order. But they didn't worship these forces (and why would they?) They worshiped the Gods, and asked for their protection. So there's not much difference in that sense between the ancient Pagans and modern Christians -- they just had more gods to worship, while Christians only have one.
Why don't we look at our similarities, rather than our differences, and try to find a common understanding?

I know some pagans don't believe in Satan and don't believe that what they do is inspired by him. I know nobody is qualified to speak about what ALL pagans do or do not believe about Satan.
I know that SOME pagans definately do SOME evil practices and the idea that you can claim that you KNOW what all pagans practice and believe is absurd.

I do not know much about your religious practices. But from what I do understand (or think I understand), Pagans are very much so into nature. I do not believe you worship Satan and I do not believe you are evil in any way.

I am a bit stumped, and for that I apologize. I do not know what a pagan is; and from the responses of folk who claim that title I feel that pagans do not know either. So, any help you can give would be very much appreciated.
What is a pagan to begin with?
Thanks!

Do you believe in the character Satan as the Bible describes? I dont know.
Do you believe something or someone embodies all that is evil in this existence? I would be shocked if you didnt. Every worldview labels something the ultimate evil.
The practice of rejecting the Gospel is most evil.

aren't there a number of different types of "pagans" ?? I'm not sure but I have suspected that whether or not they call satan that, they have other names with the same persona. I also thought there were pagans that didn't worship any diety at all?
to worship anything but God is evil.
1Cr 10:20 But I [say], that the things which the Gentiles sacrifice, they sacrifice to devils, and not to God: and I would not that ye should have fellowship with devils.
Rev 9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:

I don't know much about Pagans but I believe you should believe in whatever you want. I don't see Pagans in the news killing for religion, so please continue whatever it is you do.

Their view is if we do not worship Christ we worship Satan and do not even know we worship Satan. I think the answers you have already recieved has been along that thought pattern.
