The same Jesus that other Christians believe in. We, LDS, just have a few different beliefs about his character, origin, and teachings. We believe that He was the first spirit child of Heavenly Father, the brother of all other spirit children (yes, that includes Lucifer) We believe that He is the only physical son of Heavenly Father. He might have been married, even plurally. He is the Creator, Savior, and Redeemer of the worlds. He provided us an infinite atonement to cleanse us from sin and mortality. Through Him, we can be saved by grace after all we do all we can do. He is Jehovah of the Old Testament. He was resurrected and never died again,(He still has his body) While on Earth, He established an organization and gave some men the authority to act in His name.

Reading Jesus the Christ by Elder Talmage will help anyone understand what Mormons believe about Jesus.

The so-called "Mormon Jesus" is the same Jesus that was prophesied of in the Old Testament by Isaiah and many others, who was born to us by the virgin Mary, who was raised by a lowly carpenter name Joseph (and wife Mary), who at the age of 12 schooled the Pharisees in the temple.Who at the age of 30 was called to do His Father's work and began His ministry of healing, teaching, redemption and so on, then at the age of 33 took upon Him the sins of the world so we may all have a chance at salvation.
So they way I see it, the "Mormon Jesus" is the same as the "Christian Jesus" who in Hebrews 13:8 ".....is same yesterday, and today, and forever."

You have received many good answers. Dane H has the best one so far. I add my testimony that Jesus is the Christ, the first born spirit of the Father and only begotten of the Father in the flesh. He was the Creator of this world under the direction of the Father. He was Jehovah, the great I Am, and is now the resurrected and glorified God of this world, who atoned for our sins in order for us to be resurrected and brought back into the Father's presence according to our faith, repentance and adherence to the saving ordinances of the Gospel, and then enduring to the end. There is no other name by which mankind can be saved. Only in and through the atoning grace of Christ can we be cleansed and return to Heavenly Father. His love for us was complete, His sacrifice for us was complete. He fulfilled the mission assigned Him by His Father and we will ever be indebted to Him for that mission.

The same Jesus as in the Bible. There's only 1. Most of the answers here are totally made up. People stop spreading lies.

He is Christ, the Son of God, our redeemer and savior. He was born of Mary in a stable. He grew up in Jerusalem, or surrounding area. He suffered for all of our sins in the Garden of Gethsemane, and died on the cross. He was resurrected three days later.

While alive, He performed many miracles and taught His true gospel. He had 12 apostles and traveled the land to teach and heal and provide comfort.

Mormon leaders have taught that Jesus’ incarnation was the result of a physical relationship between God the Father and Mary. They believe Jesus is a God, but that any human can also become a god. Christians historically have taught that God is Triune and that He exists eternally as the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Matthew 28:19). No one can achieve the status of God, only He is holy (1 Samuel 2:2).

He is the Savior of the world, who atoned for all of the sins of mankind. By him, through him, we can obtain the gift of eternal life and exaltation. With Christ, nothing is possible. We owe an incomprehensible gift of gratitude to Jesus Christ.
He is our Redeemer.

Hmm...I've actually never heard that one before.

Perhaps he is the alive and well Jesus (pictured on the walls inside most LDS churches) as opposed to the Jesus suffering on the cross (found in almost every Catholic church.)
