Please would you give me your thoughts on this.....

We are good peaceful people who harm none and respect and cherish this world we have been given as our home. We help others as much as we can. We see good in almost everything.

Do you think IF at the end of our days we are wrong in our beliefs.....
That your god would not see all the good we have done and still cast us into hell?
What say you?
Thank you for your answers
Ariel

a note from a pagan Witch who isn't going to any hell:

damn, these Christian answers surprised me. I thought some of the more intelligent ones weren't so hard-nosed about their dogma. I thought that there might be some light, some modicum of broadening, but alas. How discouraging...LM

Ariel, There are many people in this world that are good, that do good things for others. I believe if someone has never been told about Christ and has never had a choice, I believe there is grace. I feel those that have been told about Christ and are choosing not to follow him will suffer the consequences of denying him. There is one God, Jesus Christ and then there is Satan. If you have not made a decision to ask Christ into your heart whether you believe it or not, you have rejected him and are living in the belief system in the world which belongs to Satan. All religions outside of Christ are of the world. I hope this helps.

It sometimes seems to me that Christians expect a lot less from their God than they would from another human being.

Which I find quite a depressing thought...

EDITED TO ADD: If the Christian God is THE only true God, then it appears that He is not very good at getting out memos. The fact that Christianity started in the Middle East and really only spread along human lines of transmission says to me that it is a religion like any other -- and that obviously following it is NOT a prerequisite for "salvation". If it was, the Christian God would have come to my ancestors without the aid of missionaries.

"but the holy bible says" but jesus this"
"but ur going to hell if u dont believe" bah bah bah

i mean i just dont get it how christians cannot use a bit their brains and think about what they feel inside what they really think and not about how their parent rased them to believe, i mean since i was a little kid i kwen a religion isnt a religion without naturel that the true religion is based on the world that instead of hating our wolrd/bodies/desires/mistakes and "sin"
we should love what our mother earth gave us and taking it as a gift, but no christians made a lot of bad on this world but look at them they are more as evil is more!

Well, as a former Christian minister and one who has studied the bible for many years, according to the bible it does not matter how good anyone is, the bible says our good works are as filthy rags to God.

The bible even goes as far as to say that most Christians are going to hell along with us pagans. The bible says there is only one church, one faith, one way, one baptism, but even in Christianity there are many faiths, many ways, many churches and many baptisms.

The bible says that straight is the gate and narrow is the way that leads to eternal life and few find it, but wide is the gate and broad is way that leads to eternal destruction.

When I was a Christian I was a member of a church that understood that there was only one church and all the demonational churches called us a cult and got mad because we believed the bible. Their comments was but we are good people who worship God, you mean if we die we are going to hell? I can't believe a good loving, caring God will send us to hell just because we don't want to be baptized or to sing without using instruments. God will understand. but When we pagans say something like this they forget that they said the same things.

So in the mind of modern Christians they feel that all of the different warring churches are the one church and that people like us are going to hell.

The main writer of the bible was a murderer. Paul was the cause of many Christian deaths, and was a very evil man and when he was converted to Christianity by seeing a vision of Jesus, Barnabus was one of the few who accepted him in the beginning. Paul had to prove himself because he was the cause of many Christians being put to death. In fact he was on the road to Damascus to put Christians to death when Jesus appeared to him.. the Jews did not accept Christians and wanted them dead.

In the bible what is important is if you obey the bible and believe the one truth and worship how the bible says worship.

If the bible is true then if you know who Jeffry Daumer is you know what a bad serial killer he was, but he did become a Christian a few days before he was murdered, so he will be in heaven while me and you and other pagans will go to hell.

If you have never been a Christian and never believed the bible, I may not be able to help you understand their thinking. The bible does say it is grace that saves us faith in Christ, but it also demands obedience by baptism, and after that walking in newness of life, but good works alone will not save anyone.

It can really get comclicated to anyone who has not had a background in Christianity.

Ok so you are going back to the matter of being good enough to get into heaven. You need to understand that the reason God doesn't let you into heaven isn't because you weren't good enough... it is because you have sin and God is holy and cannot be around sin.
If it were a matter of being good enough then you could always point to someone worse than you and say, "at least I was better than that guy"
For example:
A guy who tells a lie to his wife could say, "at least I don't beat her"
The guy who beats his wife could say, "at least I didn't kill her"
The guy who killed his wife could say, "at least I didn't kill as many people as Charles Manson"
Good old Chuck could say, "Hey; I was better than Hitler"
So at what point are you too bad to go to heaven? Is it the guy who lies, beats, kills, or goes on a killing spree? What is the standard?
God is perfect, therefore His standard is perfection. Anything below that is unacceptable. because perfection is no longer possible for us after "the fall" God made a way for us to be with Him through His Son, Jesus Christ (who was perfect and able to stand in our place) that is why you (we) need Jesus (because we are not perfect).
In the end, God loves you with an everlasting love and made it possible for you to be reunited with Him through Jesus but being "good" will never be good enough.

People who don't take Him serious constantly ask for things he didn't promise. They ask Him to lie for them.

I know that your intentions are 'good', but you are asking Him for things that He has already spoken about. You are not taking what He said seriously.

Look, I understand that you have peaceful intentions, and they seem plain to me as big peaceful intentions. I am convinced. But God's ways are NOT our ways, and I am at least mature enough a Christian to see that you are asking Him to lie about what he said. He is not going to do it! He doesn't lie.

So you can be wrong and still go to heaven! That's not what the problem is. You have to trust what he says, which begins the relationship between you and Him. Trusting Him for salvation is the first thing to do to make peace with Him. Otherwise there is no peace with Him.

But once you have peace with Him, things completely change with your relationship with Him. You being to change.

I really can't think of anything else to say. You are going to have peace with God if you trust Him for salvation.

The Bible tells you that good deeds are not enough to get into heaven. You must accept Jesus Christ as your savior. Get a readers version of the King James version and read it. Its a lot easier to understand. I wish you the best.

Hell was designed for only satan. Not for man. It existed before man.
Man was created perfect and without flaw. When man committed adulty against God, man became flawed. A flawed existance was capable, for the first time, of joining satan in his realm.
God set about making plans to redeem mankind. Mankind, now weak, sought after a king to follow. As part of the plan, there would have to be a king.
When Jesus paid a price to buy back, that which the first man had given away (adultry), God placed the avenue to return to this perfection in the blood of Jesus. Whatsoever is covered with that blood is Jesus, in God's eyes.
Only Jesus can escape hell. Only Jesus is the perfect man. That's why God had to birth through mankind. It had to be a true man.
Jesus gave Himself to whomever would call upon His name and come to Him. Therefore, whomever comes to Jesus, Jesus covers with His sacrifice (His blood). In this way, man is able to be perfect again, but not of himself, only through Jesus.
Flat out: chose Jesus or stay imperfect and apart from Him. Apart from Him is death. Death will never enter heaven.
