just describe what you think hell might be like, ive heard"hell is fire" i personally think Hell might be climbing down a ladder that is made of cold steel, once you go below the surface of the earth, the hole closes, and you are in complete darkness, with nothing anywhere near you. you just climb bare-footed down this cold steel ladder for eternity. you cannot let go for if you do, you simply get pulled back to the ladder, the col steel represents your cold heart, and how you made others feel during your life. WHAT DO YOU THINK HELL IS LIKE?

Your narration is all like enjoying like a horror film. When people kill each other for money, sex and stupid religion, when these people who were created by the supreme Almighty cannot accept that there is only one God and live together then the name of this earth is the hell. You do not require a ladder or a bladder. The loudspeakers blare at the top of sky touching buildings and places of worship that the sound does not allow even the Creator to be away from noise pollution. In the name of God missionaries make roaring business as the illgotton money of booty flow unabated. It is an act of seeding hatred in other countries.

Would like to describe hell in your own words.
1. Hell is fire, the fire which burns in our heart when we do something wrong to someone
2. Climbing down a cold steel ladder is our body, in oldage you get various diseases depending on the goods/bads you have done in your life. In short, your karma.
3. Hole closes and you are in complete darkness is your mind, when you are not humble and compassionate with the less forutnate, you block yourself in the close hole and the rays of light doesnt reach you. You are never happy in life unless you have shared your life with others.
4. You get pulled back to the ladder in your fate. You always get back what you have sown in life.

In short, Hell is your own life if you are lonely, if you havent done anything good for others, if you have been rich by money and poor by heart, if you have not believed in GOD, if at the end of your life you cannot remember one single good deed of your life, if your loved ones are not near you.

If I were an optimist - hell for me does not exist. Me to be in a pesimist's boots hell is every where & I'm in it :).Whether in the collest places where the morning sunshine kisses my wake up call reminding of the pleasant gifts it has instore for the day in the blissful island (or) stuck up near to the core of the earth knowing even the last drop water in my body is about to vapourise, Hell is when I feel - Why the hell am I here :)
So for me hell is something that I feel & not see, something in me which doesnt come out by itself but only when the shades are brought in to hide the rays of the heavens, sometime & not somewhere, I would have expected I was not there.

Little more worse than the worst you can think of. The subtle body and therefore the soul, is made to suffer in the hell. This is due to our sins that we commit life after life in our human births. We are judged by God (to me Krishn) only when in human bodies. The souls in animals and those in the heavens as deities, are not rewarded for their actions.

That's the reason why, being born in a human body is the preciousest thing that can happen to a soul. But soul is not the doer, the doers are the mind and the heart.

Hell is the word King James and those of his time used for Hades, which is the netherworld or the common grave.

It comes from an old Germanic word that means to hide esp. by burying in the ground.

The hellfire doctrine is a concept taken from ancient pagan religions and has been adopted by many Christian churches to scare people into faithfulness. A true Christian does not need fear to do the right thing (usually).
But the hellfire myth does serve the satanic idea that God is a ruthless torturer of them who wont believe, so it discredits God, and gives the agnostic a reason to hate God.

Hell is the abode of your Soul, for it is the most safe, protected and insulated chamber of the Sacred Being. Hell reflects the TRUTH and sensitises you to the UNTRUTH. Hell is a state of being in yourself, where you have a perpetual feeling of well being out of INACTION. It is from your Hell that you witness your illusionary life which is merely a PASSE between your past and the next life. It is the whole of yourself as such in your present form while your belief of OTHER THAN HELL is MAAYAA.

I think hell is a place where people go if they have done bad things in life.i believe hell is a dark pathway, where you feel people behind you, breathing on your neck but when you turn no one is there. and when you reach the end the devil is there. then he takes you into his clutch and makes you his slave for eternity while you are torched by the devil as he mocks you of what you could have been. that's why I'm going to heaven.

I once dreamed of being in utter darkness; no light, no sound, it was like being in the vacuum of space but with no stars and it was HOT! A smothering heat, I felt like I was drowning in liquid heat if that's possible to imagine.
I tried so hard to get out, but there was no exit, and it felt like I could just barely move at all. I begged and pleaded with God to get me out of there, but it was useless. then suddenly just as I thought I would loose my mind, I suddenly saw in front of me a memory of mine being played out before me; except it wasn't a happy memory; it was something I had done, that I was very ashamed of a long time ago. I tried to speak out ot explain what made me do such a thing, but just as quickly as the memory came it let me there again alone.
THAT my friend is hell, I would do anything to keep from going there again!

Hell to me is being on a hot, humid, and smelly bus, with children shreiking behind me and kicking the seat, and the woman next to me smacking her gum in my ear while I am late for a pressing appointment, then pulling a bag of funyuns out of her babydoll top that is three sizes too small and fanning herself, which makes flecks of sweat fly off and hit me.

I don't ride the bus anymore... better to bike.

Hell is like being born into a mysterious and amazing experience known as THIS life and being surrounded by religious freaks who think it is just a test for another life because they can't reconcile their ignorant brains to the fact that life is temporary.
