Possible causes:
Lactose intolerance-gas is a by product of poor digestion
too long a wait between meals-the stomach fills with gas which must come out when food fills the space

This would most likely be from diet. What do you eat? Do you eat a lot of spicy foods? Do you eat a lot of fibrous veggies? Do you eat a lot of beans? Many things we eat cause farting.
