Actually there are four essential characteristics by which the true Church of Jesus Christ can be identified. They are ...

ONE, meaning unity of belief, unity of worship, and unity of administration throughout the world. Jesus stated His intent "that they all may be ONE".

HOLY, because it was founded by God Himself. Which doesn't mean that every member of His Church is personally holy - only that His Church provides all that is needed to be holy.

CATHOLIC, meaning universal. ONE Church for ALL men, in all times and places, just as Jesus intended.

APOSTOLIC, meaning that His Church can demonstrate a clear historical record right back to the First Century and the Apostles, its first bishops.

One Church on earth possesses these four essential characteristics, the one Church founded by Jesus Christ and the only Church He ever intended to exist, the Holy Catholic Church.
