Ya think God won't do the right thing? I think we can find enough solace in that.

Ps.51:5; You know I was born guilty, a sinner from the moment of conception.
Rom.3:23; 6:23: All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God....The wages sin pays is death.

God does not "take"children from their parents, as some have been told. Although the earth produces ample food, selfish political and commercial elements often hinder its distribution to those most in need, resulting in death due to malnutrition. Some children die in accidents, as adults do. But all of us have inherited sin; we are all imperfect. We were born in a system in which everyone - both the good and te bad eventually dies. (Eccl. 9:5) But Jehovah "yearns" to reunite children with their parents by means of the resurrection, and lovingly has made provision to do so. -John 5:28,29; Job 14:14,15; compare Jeremiah 31:15,16; Mark 5:40-42

this is up to Christ not to us mere mortals. Once children reach the age of accountability where they know right from wrong . if they die before this then they cannot know to chose Jesus but after that age then no they would not go to heaven. When is that age I have no idea

Children who die before the age of accountability only. Once they can make a different between good and evil and have the ability to choose, it's a different story.

Since all creation is infected with Original Sin, Sin means death. This Sin is washed/cleansed ONLY thru the Sacrament of Baptism. Age is immaterial. Owing to ignorance of Jesus Christ and His instituted Church/Sacraments, every human will be offered Salvation at the hour of death. There will a heaven for such type of people, however they may not see the face of God.
Similar to the salvation of aborted babies. ITS HEART BREAKING.

The free gift of salvation is no different when it comes to children than adults; if they are elect of God they will go to heaven, if not they will not.

God knows all things, especially the heart, and He knows their hearts; Hitler was a child once, as was Mother Theresa.

Of course they would. christianity's teaching that all people are born evil is simply wrong. All people are born as mortal human beings who have free will. A child by definition cannot exercise free will - because ability to choose between right and wrong requires the knowledge, experience, maturity and information to make free will choices. If you read your bible, you will see that no one under 20 was considered mature enough to be eligible to go to war, no one under age 30 was considered mature enough to serve as in the tabernacle/temple, and Judaism and most other religions have recognized that youths under the age of at least puberty, if not a few years more, are not eligible to get married. It is obvious, however, that by the time one is in the mid-teens, throughout our recorded history, right up through the colonial years, the pioneer years, and the early to mid 1900s, these youths have been expected to learn trades, get married and start families, observe their social and religious obligations, and be a productive member of society. In other words, they are then considered to have the maturity to exercise their free will to do good or to do wrong. So I think we can extrapolate from tradition and from recorded history that at the very least, one has to be past puberty (which in historical eras was not 11 or 12 but usually more like 14 or 15, due to nutritional differences between then and now) to be considered responsible for their actions. And even beside this, it is idiotic to say a loving God condemns little children to hell for any reason whatsoever. That theology was made up by people who are projecting their own hatred, prejudice and arrogance onto God.

Yes because they had nothing to do with their death. There is a time when a child becomes accountable for his/her actions. Young children go to be with Jesus in heaven.

It has to do with the age of accountablity. However, the age is 12.. refer to the bible or a good commentary by a trusted Man of God :)
Children are innocent until they are able to understand the word of God and the deity of Jesus. The Bible tells us that 12 is the age of accountability. Have a blessed evening!

Yes, they do.

What happens when babies die?

Babies go to Heaven. God’s character is full of mercy and grace. It's the end of this passage that David covers babies going to heaven. I've included the entire passage as I didn't want it taken out of context.

2 Sam 12:15-23 the son of David and Bathsheba, Uriah's widow, to be very sick. 16 David prayed to God for the baby. David refused to eat or drink. He went into his house and stayed there, lying on the ground all night. 17 The older leaders of David's family came to him and tried to pull him up from the ground, but he refused to get up or to eat food with them. 18 On the seventh day the baby died. David's servants were afraid to tell him that the baby was dead. They said, "Look, we tried to talk to David while the baby was alive, but he refused to listen to us. If we tell him the baby is dead, he may do something awful." 19 When David saw his servants whispering, he knew that the baby was dead. So he asked them, "Is the baby dead?" They answered, "Yes, he is dead." 20 Then David got up from the floor, washed himself, put lotions on, and changed his clothes. Then he went into the LORD'S house to worship. After that, he went home and asked for something to eat. His servants gave him some food, and he ate. 21 David's servants said to him, "Why are you doing this? When the baby was still alive, you refused to eat and you cried. Now that the baby is dead, you get up and eat food." 22 David said, "While the baby was still alive, I refused to eat, and I cried. I thought, 'Who knows? Maybe the LORD will feel sorry for me and let the baby live.' 23 But now that the baby is dead, why should I go without food? I can't bring him back to life. Some day I will go to him, but he cannot come back to me." NCV

John 3:18 People who believe in God's Son are not judged guilty. Those who do not believe have already been judged guilty, because they have not believed in God's one and only Son. NCV

Children do not have the ability to believe or dis-believe. Therefore, until they get to the age of accountability, they are innocent. The age of accountability is different for each child. It’s the difference in knowing right from wrong…

I hope that helps!
