Is Cain descended from Adam and Eve, or is he descended from Satan and Eve? What was the mark that Cain was branded with by God after Cain killed Abel, does the bible ever describe the mark? Thanks for answering!

Abel, Cain and Seth (the lesser known brother) were Adam and Eve's kids. Lilith, Adam's first wife slept with Satan.
Cain's Mark, often thought to be on his forehead was actually a protective measure to prevent anyone from taking revenge for Abel's murder.
Some humans, like me, get a red spot between our brows when we are angry. This may have contributed to the idea of Cain's Mark, the Bible is never very clear on it.

Cain is a descended Adam and Eve. But because of sin you could say Satan created evil in the camp. This evil has now spreaded to all mankind that is why Jesus came to stop the curse. The mark is not described but everybody that saw it knew what it meant.

As a catholic I do not believe in Adam and Eve so Cain & Abel are fictisious in my belief, so much of the bible is just symbolic so we tend to stay away from it.

Cain and Able were the children of Adam and Eve.
The Bible never describes that mark.

Campbell has a plenty less demanding explanation of the Cain & Abel tale. This grow to be a narrative recorded and advised by employing nomadic herding human beings (the Hebrews) who lived in close proximity to agricultural city-states. interior the story, Cain the farmer is the undesirable guy and Abel the herdsman is the coolest guy. Abel's animal sacrifices are attractive to God--so because it relatively is a reaffirmation of the Hebrews' way of life--yet Cain's agricultural alternatives at the instant are not attractive to God. So the subtext right that is, in case you desire to delight God, be a herder and not a farmer. like the Hebrews. Who advised this tale. and likewise beware that the farmers are not getting jealous and kill you. Campbell additionally factors to tale after tale interior the OT wherein the extra youthful brother exhibits himself to be extra attractive to God than the older brother as dramatizing the comparable relationship between the (youthful) nomadic Hebrews and their settled, on occasion unfavorable, (older) acquaintances.
