Why do people put Nascar stickers on their truck?

isn't that too obvious that they are trying to be redneck?

now ask your self this question. why is it okay for a white person to put a nascar sticker on their truck and not an asian or black guy?

First off, Nascar isn't as redneck as it used to be. The races I have gone to at Chicagoland and Michigan have a lot of fans that are definitely white-collar, non-redneck people. With all that being said, odds are you are a redneck IF you've got yourself a truck, a #8 decal, a hunting or fishing decal, a "piss-on" sticker of some other truck manufacturer, and some patriotic sticker (IE- American flag, NY FD, Support the Troops etc.). But to answer your question- most rednecks don't care if people think they are rednecks!

I put them on because I am proud to be a Jeff Gordon fan I started watching in 93 and all my friends hated him because the liked Dale that pushed me to him and I guess I can thank them for being the fan of the best driver in nascar currently driveing fly your flag show your stickers I have a room decorated in gordon

I have a Ford truck with Dale Jr. and Tony Stewart stickers on it, a 9/11 Terrorist Hunting Permit (no bag limit), and a "piss on" sticker too. Guess that makes me a redneck....so what, I'm proud of who I am....a NASCAR fan!

First and Foremost lets get something straight Vicki P NASCAR and NHRA are 2 completely different things. Nobody in NASCAR has the nuts to strap into a 8000 hp top fuel Dragster or Funny car. So lets not get these confused. They put that on their car to show their support of an outdated extremely boring sport. I mean NASCAR is like baseball. During a race there is only about 30 seconds worth of excitement. Now at a NHRA Race every race is exciting!

There just showing support. Not trying to be mean to you but to me a wanna be redneck is someone who might do something like put a bumper sticker that says honk if you think I'm a redneck. Wouldn't that be pathedic, lol.

i aint tryin to be a redneck i am one!!!!and im about to put a #42 sticker in my back window of my dodge dakota cuz i know montoya pisses everyone off but i like the fact that he doesnt care who ya are hes gonna race you. and itll be there right beside my skynyrd sticker ,steeler 5 time SB champions sticker and my daughters kahne sticker

Now for your second part -- What difference does it make what another race (no matter what color their skin is) puts on their truck, I'm sure if they are a fan, then they'll have a sticker, if not, then it's their choice. Have you looked around any??

hmmm, gee, y do ppl put NASCAR stickers on their truck?? TO SHOW THEY'RE DRIVER!!!! is there sumthin' wrong w/ showin' support in a sport ya like. we don't judge ppl for puttin' baseball or basketball stickers on their cars n' trucks (if they even make those), so just let us show our support, and shut the heck up!
