Global warming is real.....ly ignorant. Even if it was true, how would people suggest we stop it? I constantly hear recycling and taking shorter showers and so on.
Breathing emits CO2, farting creates a multitude of eco-unfriendly gases, carbonated sodas emit CO2, blah blah blah.
And it is profitable. Check the price of the "inconvenient truth" movie and tell me it is not for profit. If Al Gore cared so much, he would be making an attempt to inform the public for little to no cost.
There are also tons of endorsments in the movie itself.

Of course it's real, but the reason for it is not as most people think. It is just a natural occurance in a cycle that has been going on far longer than the time we decided to leave the water and walk on dry land! The difference now is that we have the technology and record keeping ability to recognize it is happening. Perhaps mankind may be ever so slightly speeding up the process, but it would happen whether we are here or not. Think about it logically - 2/3 of the planet is ocean and there are no people living there polluting the air with greenhouse gases. Now do you really think that the other 1/3 can actually change the whole planet?

From what I can understand about it is this. History tells us
that in this county in the late 1820s and early 1830s that
there was enough watter in the South fork and the Rutherford
fork of the Ol'bion river to float a loaded barge to the
Mississippi river. Today one can walk across either without getting there pockets wet.We have had record braking heat
in three digits for last 8 days now. Global warming is real
and I'm not basing that on local weather. Glacier's started
melting in the 20s. The downing of the automobile and the
steel mills that belched smoke from thousands of tall smoke
stacks. I could go on but it's bead time. Good night.

I remember a few years ago, a group of scientists decided to scare the world. They started a rumor passed off as fact, that there was a rapidly expanding hole in the ozone that will surely fry the earth and kill us all. Ever since then I have maintained a skeptical view of doomsayers. But, all things considered, is global warming real?? Yes, I do think there is something going on. I do not believe it is solely the result of mankind although we are responsible for spewing out tons of pollutants each day. I think that a part of it is also a natural phenomenon and part of a cycle. So, what to do, what to do? Insofar as mankind is concerned, stop wasting energy would be a start. No need to use HUGE vehicles to transport one person. No need to overheat and overcool homes. Look for ways to reduce waste. As far as nature is concerned, not much to do there.
BTW, look at Al Gore. He uses more energy in his home that many small cities, drives a huge SUV and his entourage does the same. As far as his prediction is concerned, if there are irreversible consequences, he can point and say " I told you so!". If it doesn't happen, he can point and say " Good thing I warned you and you did something about it!" A win win situation for anther politician.

don't think something you study and easily a million/2 of what you spot. of direction, international warming is actual. The final Ice age has long gone away, has it no longer? So, we would desire to have international warming. Do human beings make contributions to international warming? probable some small volume, in spite of everything we are heat and we breath in oxygen and breath out CO2, we would desire to hitch the concern. what's Al Gore going to do approximately it? Kill a brilliant form of folk? continuously that's what Socialists do while they take administration of a rustic. Is that extra desirable than destroying their financial device and inflicting tens of millions to starve to dying?

Before man, the earths temperature came about from the balance of how much solar energy the sun gives us as compared to how much of the energy is radiated into space or absorbed by plants. Lots of the solar energy was stored in the form of coal and oil. Man is now releasing that stored energy into the atmosphere. This an additional source of heat from the natural one of the sun. Your car has a radiator to expel heat. Your computer gets warm, your lights generate heat and your air conditioner expels the heat out of your house ( with additional heat being used to do the work.). Everything man does, is a source of heat that did not exist before the industrial revolution. All major cities are measurably hotter than the surrounding country side. Of course man is the cause of global warming. In terms of the sun's cycles, our current CO2 levels are greater than they have ever been. And they can measure the CO2 levels going back millions of years, and back through many of the natural occurring cycles. Anyone who says global warming is not real and not man made, is a liar or a fool. All you have to do is look out your window to see the impact we have on the environment. The earth does not have an infinite size and in comparison to our impact, it is getting smaller all the time.

the same experts claimed in the 70's we were heading for an ice age by the year 2000, most of north america would be uninhabitable, if we don't stop using fossil fuels.
that prediction was close, wasn't it?
now were going to fry if we don't stop burning fossil fuel.

It is very real unfortunately. Every reputable scientific body in the world has warned of the perils . The sun's temperature has not increased and cannot be blamed for the steep rise in greenhouse gas emissions. No scientists are making a profit from this, except maybe those commissioned by oil and gas companies to try to refute or downplay the irrefutable evidence endorsed by governments worldwide, the European Union and the United Nations.
