Nothing.
Things are nice to have, but you'll still live without them. You don't NEED shelter--you'll still continue to exist without it. It's nice to have, but millions live on without it.
Even food or oxygen...if you're a believer in an afterlife, then you don't even need this because you'll continue to live on anyway.
It's very liberating to give up need. Want is always present, but when you accept that you truly need nothing, it's almost like being a bird set free from a cage.
Even God you can live without--because I believe that whether you like to believe it or not, He is loving enough to invite you into Heaven no matter what kind of life you've lived. Granted, God is the one thing that will ALWAYS be there regardless of whether you want it or not...

The one thing i need most is Jesus Christ becasue without him I am nothing. He gives me life and grace and forgiveness. Oh to hear him say 'Well done my good and faithful servant'.
