It never effected my sports but now it is starting to hurt when i run. I do not want to go to the doctor and have it be nothing because thats a waste and i dont want them to think im crazy. Any advice on what this is??

Your body is telling you that something is wrong. Listen to it and go to your medical doctor. You are not wasting the doctors or your time by trying to find out what is wrong with you.

It may be nothing but it could be something serious only testing will tell fore sure. If you go and get treatment now is could be a simple fix, but Waite and let it get worse and go untreated you could get to a point that it cant be fixed and that is not a good thing.
You obviously are worried about it you posted a question so that tells me you are worried. Worry also is bad for you it can make simple things even worse. Tell your parents and get an appointment with your family Dr., get it checked out and be totally honest with the Dr. don't leave out anything because you don't wont to "look crazy". It will be OK

Chest pain is not something to mess around with or put off getting looked at. My sister n law has just started having chest pains over the past few weeks and they found that where there is usually one electric pulse that your heart beats to, she has two, and her heart rhythm jumps between the two electric pulses.
I don't know what you have happening, but don't let it go as if it is nothing! Even if you go to the doctor and they say it is nothing, it's always better to be safe than sorry!

You NEED to go to a doctor. They won't think you are crazy - you have a symptom, it's the doctor's job to find out what is causing it.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
