So i just was hoping to maybe stubble upon a really smart person that could explain to me why men are cursed with such over powering manly odors? I mean here's the deal and im not alone in this. I shower, twice a day..really well. I use lever 2000. I scrub the hell out of my body. I wash my poo hole and my balls really well but as soon as i get out dry off ..within an hour or so i can smell those manly odors coming from down yonder... its very odd! I have talked to and read alot about men ... i know that we have stronger odor then females..but why? I hate that my balls and *** smell like HELL if i miss one of my showers....Who else is experiencing this? DONT lie guys, you know you have a smelly ***/balls by the end of the day.

You might try to go to the Doctor and ask to see if you might have a yeast infection like women get. Sometimes during the hotter dog days of summer, the yeast is prevalent and causes you to have a heavier odor.

Try changing the underwear more often and wash with bleach and no perfumes to keep the skin from being irritated from the perfumes.
I would recommend the Tea tree oil to wash with. It comes in a shampoo for men at the drug store or beauty salon. T-T-Oil is a natural antibiotic solution in which it helps keep the bacterias calmed down.

If U can stand it, use the Germ-X to rub around the genital area for sure. The alcohol will keep the germs at bay too. Plus you smell fresher and cooler. Doctor first my man!

You have limphnodes just below your armpits and also in between your legs just below your pelvic bones and scrotum. Also, you have sweat glands that are larger in those areas than in others. Because of your hormones - testasterone - and the all that glandular stuff going on will give you that human musk scent in those areas. It comes from our ancestors to be able to determine what smell we have and to identify your "known" smell. Indentification sort of if you will.
In the summer or in warm areas those areas are putting out more things to cool the body and to let out your "scent".
Best thing to use is antipersperant with a deodorant down there or try Gold Bond powders to reduce heat rash, jock itch, and moisture that cause them. Cotton jockey shorts or boxers in the summer are the best to wear during the summer. My husband will actually use his antipersperant just behind his scrotum and in between his legs (works in the construction feild) especially since it has been sooooo hot here he will even add some of the Gold bond powder too plus to his shoes and feet. But it is all chemical reaction with all the factors in place - hormonal, glandular, ancestoral, and enviroment all cause this. If you think it is a very big problem and regular over the counter stuff doesn't help they do make an antipersperant for those with the cronic "smell" but you have to see a dermatologist to get that done.
Good luck on your condition.

Not so very long ago, in the scheme of things, men were living in caves and fighting off animals who entered the caves.
Because humans did not have long sharp nails, or pointy teeth, or weigh 900 pounds, or have a trunk, or poisonous fangs - all we got was brains to figure out a way out of a bad situation, and a BAD SMELL to keep things at bay....
Because you wear a suit everyday, you assume all your cave man attributes are gone, but theyre not!

Odors come hormonal imbalances and from bacteria, not from our sweat. If its a bacterial thing try to dab rubbing alcohol on the problem areas to prevent bacterial accumulation after you've just washed.
If you have such a bad problem there are ways to correct this, you have to consult your family doctor though. You don't have to live with this.

Good luck!

Try eating a clove of garlic every day ... I know ... I'm telling you to eat something to make you 'more stinky' ... but if you do this, after two weeks all of the 'toxins' you are 'smelling' will be 'leeched out' by the garlic, and as long as you keep eating a clove of garlic every day (or taking garlic oil in gel tabs to the 'equivalent' of one clove of garlic ... 4-8 pills) you'll 'smell good' (you may not even need 'deodorant') and your breath will smell good ...
What you are smelling is the 'overdose of testosterone' ... and the garlic will 'leech out the excess' and you'll still be 'manly' but will smell much more appetizing.

Hair is nature's way of keeping us warm and pungent (to attract mates). Hairy nether regions cause moisture (sweat) to build up, heat up, and get smelly. Try shampooing the hair, and if that doesn't help, shaving will solve the problem.

Keep on washing but don't forget that there are 1) body powders that absorb odors 2) body lotions, ditto and 3) deodorants. Try them, you will like them (and your friends, too)
