Have any of you try to find him?

If you seek me with all your heart,
you will find me.

Absolutely, I would believe in Him if He appeared to me. If it turned out that He was the spiteful, jealous and violent God that appears in the Old Testament though, I would still not follow Him. Sorry.
I guarantee you that I have tried to find your God far more than you have tried to find any of the Hindu Deities, gods of other traditions or Buddha. So why do you dismiss all of these without first finding them?

So you mean you need to hypnotize yourself into believing this creature existed first before you can believe this creature existed.

------

I sincerely doubt this god has revealed itself to anyone before. Just pure hypnotism. Some people believed it so strongly because of Brainwashing. In the 2nd World War, the Kamikazi fighters believed so strongly that their Emperor is the son of heaven they are willing to die for the emperor. Does that mean the Emperor of Japan is the real god?

Faith = Self Hypnotism until you believe what you hypnotise yourself to believe.

How do you know this god you say is the true god, because you think so? Some people thinks Zeus is the true god, if you do not believe ask your god to fight with his god openly.

Buddhism has no gods. I was a Christian, so? I had been in your shoes, I had read the whole bible and find it full hogwash. I grew tired if the phrase "God works in mysterious ways and therefore you cannot understand him, you just need to have faith to know he is true and correct".....

If you were raised a buddhist, perhaps you can tell us what had you learnt in buddhism? Or had you not even read a buddhist scripture before?

You seem to have the misguided impression that atheists were never christian. Not so, I was once a christian. I don't reject god. There is no god to reject. If he revealed himself of course I would believe. I'm not stupid. But, he hasn't and fairy tales do not count.

See, lolly, you used the word 'if' and, were you convincd yourself of the existence of this silliness, you would have used the word 'when'.
If is a small word but has an enormous meaning.
It ain't gonna happen, sunshine.
Ask a more sensible question and you might get an appropriate answer.

My first thought would be to check into a lunatic asylum.

Edit: Like you I believed in God (many moons ago), but now I don't. So I have certainly examined the possibility. Now let me ask you: do you ever consider the possibility that God might not exist?

With the limited human capacity for understanding, God would again be rejected.

Yes, I'd believe.

Yes, I've tried to find Him.

He'd need to temporarily suspend some natural law to prove to me that he could in fact perform miracles. That'd pretty much do it for me.

If a god showed himself to me, I would believe. That would be my proof. But that hasn't happened, and I doubt it will. Of course, if it's just some lunatic, well, psh. And it probably will be. Hah.

I've asked people in here to pray for God to appear to me to prove his existence, and not once has it happended. Please don't tell me that rainbows and puppies are proof. They're not. If God exists, it wouldn't take much for him to appear before me and whisk me away to another part of this planet for 30 minutes. Since he won't make that effort, it's proof to me that he doesn't exist.

Yes, I want him to appear before me. How else would I know that he exists? Since he's so powerful, this should be very easy for him. That isn't asking much if he wants me to be one of his followers. I don't want clues. I want him.

Depends on what he did. If he just shows up and says "I'm god. Worship me because I say so or I'm going to throw you in a pit of fire to burn for all eternity" then he can kiss my big fat hiney.
