just started this job & I was hired to eventually be the supervisor of the office. Well it has been a rough couple of weeks adjusting to the new job & I vented about the current boss & just the job to an employee that has been there for many years & who was basically passed over for the promotion to supervisor (for which I was hired). This person was reprimanded today for telling me she wanted to quit, & I told management, but today instead of her a tongue lashing from the owner, she blurts out about what I wrote on a blog. She did not give details, but she basically said I posted a blog about the current supervisor. I am wondering if when they do actually fire her, will she let it all out? I went and spoke to the supervisor about this & was up front about EVERYTHING, & the supervisor told me that this is the norm of what this person does. She tries to avoid any responsibility by focusing on others. I am afraid she will give all info when they do decide to fire her. Any advice?

I can't believe you actually "vented about the current boss." Those type of vents must be saved for family and closest of friends. Discretion is vital if you want to succeed in life.
