No I do not think it would.
Criminals will always have guns.
Therefore citizens need guns to protect theirselves.

Stricter gun control will do one thing. Help the criminals because they already don't care about breaking the law. What's a gun violation when you are planning to go out and rob some people in the first place?

White collar v. Blue collar can be argued all day.

Since you don't need a gun to forge a check or embezzle money then I don't see why gun control would help with that either.

No, or explain the difference in crime rates for any major city with gun control, to Montana where it's hard to find a house without a gun.

Of course, this doesn't help with forgeries or white collared crimes. But to put rape and forgery on the same level is ridiculous.

I can't for the life of me figure out what gun control has to do with forgeries and white collar crime. As far as rape goes, a woman with a gun probably won;t be, or will get revenge if she is.

To reflect on the countries with strict gun control, Britain, Japan, and Australia. Hand guns are illegal to own. but they still have hand gun crime.

Criminals don't follow the laws, you only restrict lawful citizens, therefore making them an easier victims.

Also statically speaking for white collar crimes, the involvement of guns is minuscule compared to the violent acts.

So the answer is no

It has been proven time and time again that stricter gun control laws DO NOT decrease crime, in fact they are a catalyst for more violent crime. See Washington DC, the murder capitol of the world, we have among the strictest gun control laws in the country, but people continue to kill each other with guns at a record pace.

White collar crimes and forgeries don't involve the use of weapons, so I'm going with a no on this one.

I don't think you understand the concept of "white collar" crimes. These have little, if anything to do with guns.

Gun control has not been shown to reduce even gun-related violent crimes. In fact, it often correllates with increases in violent crime, while areas with liberal (yes, that's technically the correct word, liberal as in 'permissive' - sounded wierd to me, too) gun control laws often have lower rates of violent crime. There are lots of possible explanations besides gun control = more crime / gun rights = less crime - but there's certianly even less support for the opposite conclusions.
