Do they know Jews are white? Mmm. Yeah. I think racist views and Christianity are frequently associated because they can be considered "traditional" and, tragically, this association has an historic precedent. When slavery was widespread lots of church leaders were apologists for slavery. It was wrong. But it is a part of history.
A lot of really vehement racists would argue that the business of Jesus being a Jew or Moses marrying an Ethiopian is added to the Bible as some sort of conspiracy. They're nut-jobs, these racists, and they're practicing bad textual scholarship to boot.
I think the scriptures most of these people would cite are ones that caution the ancient Hebrews against intermarriage with other people groups. Of coursee, those scriptures are more primarily concerned not with a racial question but with a question of religion.

Why are some non-Christians racist and homophobic? People are people and all people make mistakes. You simply cannot look at one group of people who hate others and call themselves Christians to validate their behaviors and classify the whole group. I'm a Christian and I have friends who are homosexuals and I truly love them. I have friends who are black, hispanic, muslim, whatever. I know that God made each of us and I can find something in anyone to love. Anyone who hides behind Christianity and spouts hatred and violence is a liar and not a Christian. Don't place your whole belief system in God on the flaws in some men, often the two have never met. I know people who have sat in a church their entire lives and don't live as Christians and I can honestly say that sitting in a church will not turn you into a Christian anymore than sitting in a garage will turn you into a car. It is the relationship that counts.

Racism is a type of hatred against a group of people even though religion attempts to teach love. However, I can think of a couple of biblical quotes that could support racism. One quote (Genesis 9:20-29) talks about Noah and his sons. It says that after Noah left his ark following the flood, he planted a vineyard and got drunk from the wine he made, causing him to pass out. When Noah was passed out, Ham, one of his sons, saw his father's nakedness. (Seeing one's nakedness is probably a reference to rape.) When Noah awoke, he knew what had happened, so he cursed Ham, saying that he had become inferior to brothers. In addition, Ham was to have acquired a symbol of evil. This symbol has been interpreted by racists to mean dark skin. Racists see blacks as descendants of Ham.
The other passage is Leviticus 25:44-46, which says that it's acceptable to enslave people who are different from you.
I do not agree with the racist interpretations that I mentioned, but I did do a lot of research on this topic because I recently wrote a paper on how religion was used by Southeners to justify slavery. The biblical passages can be found in a bible or websites like biblegateway.com. If you want a very detailed discussion of this topic, I'd suggest reading "Noah's Curse." (I don't remember the author's name.)

The Bible does not support racism. It does support righteous indignation against anti-Christians. However we must tolerate other faiths. People say that we should fight Muslims because they are supposedly out to kill us, but it's only a few radicals that feel this way. Overall the Islamic faith is as peaceful as Christianity.
Also, yes there is genocide in the Old Testament, but it was because the people were God's instrument of vengeance against unrepentant pagans. And: do you think that it wasn't hard for the commanders to order the slaughter of so many innocents? They had to trust in God, like Abraham almost sacrificing his son Isaac.

There is no reference that supports racism in the Bible. Christians that are reacists are still christian because they believe in God...but the have his word conscrewed (as many people do nowadays). If we begin to judge their faith and talk down on them, as they do to others, then we are no better than these "Christian racists." Though it would be nice if someone would put them in their place enough for them to get their facts right...because little do they know....true Christians are non judgemental and leave all of the judging up to God.

Jesus never supported any claims of racism. Just the opposite! Jesus loves and forgives even the worst of sinners, and wants only their happiness, no matter the race, color, creed, or sex. Repenting is for the sinner, not for Him. He just knows that for us to be happy there are rules that must be followed. Again, not for Him, or for God, but for us. Can we be happy if our actions lead us to turmoil? Of course not! That is what the rules are all about. They make life better for us, because just like children, and lost sheep, we don't always know the way. Following the rules makes Jesus and God happy too, because they love us, as parents love their children. You can see that nothing is forced by Jesus. It must be voluntary. The world is a rough place not because of righteousness, but because of a lack of it! Praise God! So if someone is claiming a racist doctrine they do not know Jesus. He died for ALL of us. Not any particular race.

Guess what? Christians are human, with human faults. Should a Christian be a racist? No, definitely not, but racist Christians do exist. God knows that we are not perfect, however he expects us to work diligently towards perfection, and that includes love for one another, no matter what they look like, no matter their language. Christians are no different than other people with the exception of their beliefs. Christians are people who simply believe in the life, works, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

For a very long time there was a belief in christianity than anyone who wasn't white had the mark of Cain. (Cain killed his brother Abel, Yahweh put a mark on him so that no one would kill him out of revenge.)
Many people (in particular, slave owning American Southern Aristocratic Christians) used this as an excuse for owning slaves.
Not all christians are racists of course. However, in America at least it sure seems like the overwhelming majority of Neo-Nazi, KKK scumbags also call themselves christians.

No, there is not a single scripture that supports such prejudice.
To the contrary, Acts 10:34 At this Peter opened his mouth and said: “For a certainty I perceive that God is not partial, 35 but in every nation the man that fears him and works righteousness is acceptable to him.
I guess what it all comes down to is not whether we ourselves think we are Christian- but whether God thinks we are.
