I'd tell them to prove it, like walking on water or turning one fish into hundreds or something like that.

Absolutely not. Nobody can duplicate Jesus in nature or his mission. That is all done with.
To say that that person would have the same chance as Jesus really tells me that you are rushing to have knowledge that you can't grasp yet. It clearly states that you have a long way to go to understand Jesus. Don't waste your time trying to debunk Jesus.

The only way I would believe him is if he performed signs and wonders like the real Jesus did. I can only dream of meeting Him before I die. That would be a dream come true. To walk and talk with my Savior.

Jesus was the only "begotten son" we become sons of God when we accep;t Jesus as Lord and Savior of our sins.If sons of God then joint heirs with Jesus.

Evidently Jesus was so obviously holy that people recognized the divinity in him. I don't think anyone today who says they are the son of God is righteous enough for people to listen to him.

No I would not. Because Jesus told us that many would come in His name, but do not believe it. We know the signs of His coming, and also we know Him already. He lives in our hearts. He told us not to go looking for Him, that He will be back for us, and we will know that it is Him. I WILL KNOW MY LORD WHEN I SEE HIM.
Jesus said, "I know My sheep, and My sheep know My voice." So, when He says "Come, up here with Me." I'll know it's Him.

"Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

Behold, I have told you before."

Matthew 24:23-25.

Even if Jesus were to come back, they will call him the Antichrist and make him suffer again. Humans are funny creatures.

There can be only One

Jhn 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Jhn 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

1Jo 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
