do you need the meds to live, if yes, probably not seeing as in combat you may run out, or use up, or have it blown off your person.

Well, it would be better if you stay at home because you need to constantly take care of your disease. Once you joined the army, it would be really hard to quit. I am telling you.

No. Taking thyroid disqualifies you. There's no "waiver."
