This is going to sound funny, but our daughter CANNOT go to sleep without a tag. It can be a pillow tag, a blanket tag, a stuffed animal tag, or whatever. She will literaly fight sleep if she doesn't have a tag for some reason.

I'm 26 yrs old. Up to 2 yrs ago I had a diaper cloth from when I was a child. I called it "my nose" It had a distinct smell & feel to it. Around allergy season I would rub my face. Hey It was conforting to me. It stayed under my pillow. Well 2 yrs ago my I went to my Auntie house to spend the summer. She decided she wanted to wash the sheets on my bed and suprise me with a new set. When I came home all i notice was "my nose" missing. I found it a week later in her scrap bag It smelled like furniture polish. Of course i did what came natural I CRIED!!!!!!! Nothing can take"my nose" place I've tried everything. Even though I had numerous holes in it and strings was every where "I MISS MY NOSE"

When my youngest son was a baby (and to the age of 6 or so), he had this stuffed rabbit named "Bunny." It is about 6 inches tall. That was his absolute favorite of all time! If it got lost at any point, the house was a mess until it was found. There was literally NO peace for any of us until Bunny was found.
Bunny is stored in a box in my son's room now. Every once in a while, when he is going through stuff, he finds it. When he does he yells out 'BUNNY!!" My son is now 17 (and he would hate me if he knew I told anyone about this... LOL)

My 2 1/2 year old has this raggedy zebra that he's had since he was 6 months. His name is "Zeba Buddy" and it goes almost everywhere with us, and has even crossed state lines. The darn thing isn't machine washable and you don't even want to know how many dried boogies I had to cut out of it's fur, but my son loves Zeba Buddy unconditionally.

my daughter loves her little "blankey buddy" and cannot sleep without it. it has a bear head and the rest is a blanket. one side is soft and the other silky. she sleeps with it over her head. we have tried moving it as we were concerned with having soft objects over her face while sleeping but she just would move it back on her own. she loves bringing it with her everywhere. thank goodness its machine washable because it has smelled of pee a couple of times when she woke up in the morning!

All of my kids love their blankies. When my 12 yr old was little he had this little blue four wheeler that he called his "sore wheeler" and it was soooooo tiny. If we ever lost it we'd have to rip the whole house apart to find it. I MUCH prefer the blankie attachment....easier to find!

my little brother had a small cloth doll when he was young. he liked it so much that we bought him three. that was helpful because if one was dirty or one got lost he had another. they were inexpensive, so it wasn't a bid deal to buy more than one. he got very attached and always felt better when "junior" was around
